Control room for one of the 16" gun turrates. The breech room was closed off as the powder magizines. But I did get to see a shell elevator.



The North Carolina was in Gwadle Canal and protected the Carrier Enterprise from Comacazzie (SP) attacks. It took one torpedo on the Port side, but I couldn't see where it hit. The tour of the ship didn't allow us full roam of the ship. For us guys, the engine room was awsome. I didn't take any pics though

set my blonde, blue eyed SIL up as she manages a company right up from a firehouse. gonna have a broad chested, 36 y.o. come in and rescue her out of the office; trade off for some freebie stuff her company does (fortune 500 giveaways). She heard the truck come up, thought she missed the alarm-got every one out and got right in her ford pickup and left. thought she'd use the 15 minutes to run an errand/time management. romantically hopeless i call her. Still took care of the company, but she sent the warehouse guys down !!

On duty back in quarters, not to hot today, raining hard and around 70*. Lots of water related issues for calls today. Busy busy busy. Hopefully the night tour will quiet down but for some reason I doubt it will.

4 tractor trailer wrecks last week and a car that decided to jump a wall and literally go through a house and into their basement.

Our LOWE's store in Kenai called everybody in to work last night. Told em they were closed. As of today its boarded up and even the big letters on the building are gone. At least they are giving em 2 months pay but what the heck happened!
