Do you use a pressure canner or cooker? This year will be my first time canning taters but I've decided to stop for the night, the taters can wait for another day. I was told to blanch them first then hot can them. Green Bean came out looking good, got them resting now. Think tomorrow will be more maters.

Careful, people look silly when they lose a but kickin contest to a one-legged man...
While I'm thinking about it, since everybody here seems to be amuck in all sorts of things, if anybody trips over a junk jeep, I'm looking for connecting rods out of 258 6 cyl. pre 90 yj/cj5/cj7 and j10's. Might be interested in the crank too, but probably easier to just be a new one for the price of shipping and machining.

Don, have a friend with an 80 CJ-7 that originally had a 258. He restored the jeep and swapped in a 304, I'll see if he still has the 258 and if he wants to partout the engine.
Not much, watching Kelly's Heros on the Military channel and cruising around DTR.

it's an old war movie, one of my favorites. Has Clint Eastwood and Donald Sutherland in it they story behind it is the americans are going to rob a bank in france during ww2 that is housing german gold.
shoot went excellent. sight ins, revolving targets, paint cans/foam cans and mouse traps with cans (they fly up after being hit for two shots) we used up some explosive targets too. serious sound of the .303 enfield after the .308 after the short barrelled 12 guage-rinnnnggggg. range cleared but let the boys play and worked on the harley (cleaned the tank and carb from rust particles), hubby made supper and brownies. is it Christmas? felt like it.
son did good picking out a bike, then choosing to wait until finances were solid- awesome! (and better for worrying me) suzuki boulevard 400 root beer and black paint scheme.
we videoed a segment of rapid fire stuff and sent it to soldier friends of my son. an hour later, they sent relaxed volleyball video with a bar b que from afghanland. funny guys. God Bless 'em!
