I hope not. I worked too hard to get here!

I heard about the snow too. Only 2 to 4 inches tho. That's better than 2 to 4 FEET!

Huh? Just got an onsite survey from this webpage asking me about buying KFC nuggets. Never saw an ad like that on DTR before.
Nearest KFC is in Anchorage.

Good morning folks. Gonna be another nice day today, once our fog lifts....it's pretty bad right now. Need to get out there and find that annoying "clicking" sound I'm getting out of my frontend. U-joints are good, so is hanger bearing on rear shaft. Almost narrowed it down to the front calipers. It's speed related and starts about 40mph and gets more "worser" (was that the correct usage perfessor) the faster I go. I hate trying to find elusive problems like this.

Heading out, later people.
Better check the lugs before you do too much more experimenting.

Hey Scott, I found a way for you to outsmart us all. Throw away those greasy old chainsaws, I found a better way to cut wood in half! It's fast too, does an entire truckload in a single pass.

I thought it was ironic that the name was DTFR considering the train wreck this place is turning into with all the ads and delays and such. I guess you hadda be there.

Morning.

Wednesday, February 6th.

1788 - Massachusetts became the sixth state to ratify the U.S. Constitution.

1815 - The state of New Jersey issued the first American railroad charter to John Stevens.

1900 - U.S. President McKinley appointed W.H. Taft as commissioner to report on the Philippines.

1911 - The first old-age home for pioneers opened in Prescott, AZ.

1933 - The 20th Amendment to the Constitution was declared in effect. The amendment moved the start of presidential, vice-presidential and congressional terms from March to January.

1959 - The U.S., for the first time, successfully test-fired a Titan intercontinental ballistic missile from Cape Canaveral.

1971 - NASA Astronaut Alan B. Shepard used a six-iron that he had brought inside his spacecraft and swung at three golf ***** on the surface of the moon.

1972 - Over 500,000 pieces of irate mail arrived at the mail room of CBS-TV, when word leaked out that an edited-for-TV version of the X-rated movie, "The Demand," would be shown.

1987 - President Ronald Reagan turned 76 years old this day and became the oldest U.S. President in history.

1998 - Washington National Airport was renamed for U.S. President Ronald Reagan with the signing of a bill by U.S. President Clinton.

1999 - Excerpts of former White House intern Monica Lewinsky's videotaped testimony were shown at President Clinton's impeachment trial.

2000 - U.S. First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton formally declared that she was a candidate for a U.S. Senate seat from the state of New York.

2002 - A federal judge ordered John Walker Lindh to be held without bail pending trial. Lindh was known as the "American Taliban."

Attitudes are contagious. Are yours worth catching?

Coffee and ph00 are ready. Let's get to it!

I'll look around the net for you Bark. I would think they're always needing more folks to drive the vehicles in the crash tests.

I had an un-forseen busy day today....moms mustang clutch was having adjustment issues........AGAIN!!! Finally got that worked out. If any of you ever replace a clutch in a 98 GT do yourself a favor and get an adjustable clutch cable and new metal quadrant for under the dash. Then make yourself a return spring for the clutch fork!!!! Trust me, I know.

Thanks for the history report chaikwa, RoboArm....get well soon! Start moving that thing ASAP!! Nice day today, foggy this morning and 70 and sprinkles and then clear skies. Hope the northerners fair well with your weather. Stay safe and warm.

What happened? Someone give you a piece of paper with "See other side" printed on both sides?

You can't make me say it! And if YOU say it, I'll ban ya!

I guess that goes along the same lines as those urine tests you can't pass either. I felt bad for you last time, you studied so hard!

Morning all. Last day at the University for this week. Don't have to be there until noon again. Some of these kids scare me. I'll have 4 great classes where they're engaged, interested and interactive, then I'll have one class that I can't get to say 'Good Morning', much less answer questions, or, God forbid, ASK ONE! Failed 3 of them yesterday simply because they wouldn't answer simple questions and I had NO idea if they had learned anything or not. These are the people that are going to be running our country!

Thursday, February 7th.

1795 - The 11th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was ratified. Without looking it up, does anyone know what it represents?

1893 - Elisha Gray patented a machine called the telautograph. It automatically signed autographs to documents.

1922 - DeWitt and Lila Acheson Wallace offered 5,000 copies of "Reader's Digest" magazine for the first time.

1936 - The U.S. Vice President’s flag was established by executive order.

1943 - The U.S. government announced that shoe rationing would go into effect in two days.

1944 - During World War II, the Germans launched a counteroffensive at Anzio, Italy.

1962 - The U.S. government banned all Cuban imports and re-export of U.S. products to Cuba from other countries.

1984 - Space shuttle astronauts Bruce McCandless II and Robert L. Stewart made the first untethered space walk.

1985 - "New York, New York" became the official anthem of New York City. (This is noteworthy? What did they expect the official anthem would be, something that promotes a different state?)

Thoughts:
A man who sits on a tack is better off.
