T-storm last night. Loud cloud, lots of lightning, house in our neighborhood got struck and caught fire. 2 firefighters were injured. Got much needed rain, and about 1/2" here. Soft rain this morning, has stopped, sun coming out. Going to the 100°F today.

Irene. . . I said we were probably going to get a hurricane this year and here she is! It's been downgraded to a tropical storm for us with 65 MPH winds , and due Monday morning. So she's gettin tired. Land Fall will probably kill her.

Regardless, our ground is saturated and any high winds will topple trees. So I am expecting at least power outages. Tomorrow, I'll change the oil in the Generac.

Elaine needs to be in controlled environment allot so I did the automatic Generator. That and I host a bunch of websites here. We live in an old grid and there are lots of trees. We've been out for 24 hours before.

Ahhh It's probably going to be like Huricane Charlie in Clearwater Florida. All it did was PFTTT. I flew in the night before and landed in a closed airport. Got stuck there with lotsa beer on hand. Wasted a whole day boarding up windows on my buddies house and business. I felt sorry for the center of the state.
