Had nothin better to do today so we headed up the coast on the scoots. Gassed up just south of Gordo towards Big Sur. $3.59, $3.69 and $3.79 a gallon, Thats the most Ive ever spent on gas. Now I what them Europeans feel like.

 

$1.50 for reg. and $1.83 for diesel

 

With gas that much, you didn't happen to notice what they wanted for Diesel did you?

Figure around here it's about 20 cents more than supreme, it had to be pushing $4 a gallon.

That area probably doesn't have many stations that also serve up Diesel though.

We topped off in Gordo but there was another station up the road a little. I know the one we stopped at didnt have diesel. Just as we were leavin a fello in a CTD and a fiver pulled in probably lookin for some. You definatly pay the price up there. the road is bad enough on a bike let alone a tractor trailer rig. Matter of fact some years back on one of the hairpins a T T rig of fuel lost it over the edge, the off tracking put the rears off the edge and the whole thing went down. Man, bet that one cost someone a bunch to clean up

 

Must be California. They have "special" fuel. It's gotta be better for us.

 

Here in Los Angeles, CA , prices have dipped and diesel is now just below
2.00 a gallon, and regular gas is 2.09 - 2.49 depending on how close to the freeway you are (closer is higher)

 

Still $2.51 here in Guam.

Thats $3.32 per gallon

 

Yea when I left London Ontario in October, diesel at the Flying J (best price in town) ws 82 cents a litre.

At 3.78 litres to the US gal thats $3.10 C a standard gallon and at 1.25 that works out to ~ $2.32 US a gallon.

Here in Casa Grande Az yesterday I paid 1.959 US per gallon.

Sure is expensive for a by product....
