this friday night, supposed to be down this way by willowbrook mall. just handcalculated my mpg from my trip to NY and back, 18.1 mpg on winter blend got a lot of work done up there and I tell ya what, the torque on sw7 and snow covered / packed roads is a bit touchy ! How's everybody's shoppin coming along? I am thinkin I want a remote start for myself, but don't want a cheapo, or break the bank. no need for alarm, but cool down timer would be nice, anyone know of a good system ?

 

lolhe was in front of me on my back way home today, gave me a little puff when he was in front of me, so when he turned i gave it all she had.AND MIKE look at the BD turbo timer, its a nice peice.

 

My shopping is almost 100% done, just have my brother left. Gotta love shopping online and free shipping! What time are we shooting for this Friday? Planning on pre-gaming after the gym with some buddies, so wings will be a nice break in between the Bud's. Who is heading down anyway?

 

sheesh I'd hardly call that snow, but enough to get me up at 12 am and work for 6 and a half hours pushin and saltin a sloppy mess. but on the up side, I think I am done for the day So i am sittin here programming a pair of gps units that are gifts, might as well gift them all set up with a few locations.......... anybody else have to move this white slop around? Not so sure I like being this far ahead on christmas shopping, I feel like I should buy more gifts, but I better not, famly is gonna be happy enough as it is. couple more days till some good wings, and I am ready for em. I think I saw polaraco drivin around yester day or monday, days are kinda confuesing when your sleep gets messed with.

 

Well Mike get ready man...weather people are saying 6-10' tomorrow with the heaviest being between 3-6pm. Gotta put the plow on the 4 wheeler tonight and get ready to rock. Guess this years snow fund will go towards a turbo/sticks for you Mike?

 

Yeah weather man said 8-12 this morning on the radio for tomorrow, but weather channel is claiming 5-8. Not quite ready for it yet so I am digging the 5-8 idea

Tomorrow really isn't looking good for me makin it, depending on the weater I might just stay home from work tomorrow and shovel snow and . Maybe take the Wolverine or 450 out on the town

 

I can't wait to ride my quad up to my buddy's house in Boonton Twp. tomorrow night. If the snow is real bad than I am going out plowing with a buddy of mine so I won't be around. I am guessing Mike will not be around either. Guess we will have to have an after-holiday get together if that happens.

 

Yeah I can imagine you guys will have your hands full on this one if it turns out...

We are thinking about doing New Years at our house this year, anybody interested? Not 100% yet, really need more stuff in the basement and more parking, but it will be fun regardless

Just talked to Mike before...he is on keg of joe number two already. Says it should last awhile, but I bet he is at Dunkin Donuts in a little while getting more! Be careful out there today guys, and keep the shiny side up.

 

No dunkin nuts here, columbian supreme, high octane blend well back home and a bit of sleep behind me, it was a royal pain storm, just kept coming and coming. plowed from 11 am friday morning until 3 am Saturday morning. lost a piston on my plow truck so I was in a wheel loader wih a 16 foot box the rest of the time, I had a 14 foot box last year and let me tell ya, that extra two feet is a lot more to watch for. I am flat out tired, just too brite out to sleep. Hope everyone made it through ok. Not sure what else is goin on, might head to the bow shop and see if my bow is finished, got it re strung as some of the cables were stretched, and the string looked tired. I would love to go sit tonight, but the better sencse in me says it just might not be the safest thing to do. But dang, snow cover, that will make them brow buggers hungry, & I got just the corn they want ready and waitin for them. o what to do.

 

Dang what a storm, like Mike said, just never stopped. Added about 45 minutes to the commute, so it was almost doubled Couldn't get the snowblower to function correctly, equated to lots of shoveling. Then I found out I was out of Miller, had to drink that Bud stuff
Took a minute to run the 450 down the road last night, but by that time it was sleeting a little and causing lots of facial pain so it didn't last long. Almost got the Wolverine back together last night, should finish it today and hopefully get that snowblower runnin again.

and I have GOT to stock back up on beer
