I plan on being there. I have to drop off my truck at Level 10 again on the 5th so the trans can be gone over. I would think it should be done by Friday. I will drop them an e-mail now to confirm if it will be finished and if it can be beat on right away.

Yeah I got the hood, good deal could not pass up........ friday sounds good this week for hooters, and next week for island....... now all we gotta do fast is decide which hooters. I don't mind driving to get to franklin, but if the majority is closer to wayne, I am just up the road. btw, in case none of you caught on, my truck looks a bit different :

7 pm sounds good , stragglers welcome..... Gary, that nut sounds like a ****, anyway you could take manifold off and do it on the bench? I hear it gets heavy fast but if you can not get at it it is an option.

Yes you need a stuby combo wrench using the open end. You then proceed to use swear words you never used before and if your lucky you'll end up with bloody knuckles trying to make sure it's tight when you put it back on.
If you have trouble getting the new turbo in place don't be afraid to loosen the bolts that hold the housings clocked so you can rotate the wastegate to fit it in. Rotate back into place and retighten after turbo is bolted up to manifold. Use 2000* anti-sieze on all hardware! I did and it made it possible to remove the hardware when I did the twins. (if you ever have to take them off)

If you need to borrow a wrench let me know. Good luck!

lets start hearing some predictions on quater mile times, whos gonna run what, lets go everybody speak up. ill start with myself, i think with the edge ill be lucky to break 14 flat, and with the smarty mid 13's, im not to sure about 4wd launches, how much boost can i leave the line with do you think. ive never tryed it yet, and i hear alot about it, that you can shave 4 tenth's of your time.

When did you order it?

As for 1/4 times, I hope to be around a 12.5 I think my biggest problem is going to be hookin up comming out of the hole. I was spinning all fours last year on level 5 and actually got my best times running level 4.(vA C5 box)
I leave at 15 pounds of boost because of my tight converter. Any more than that and I have a hard time keeping the truck from moving. It really wants to push through the brakes. You will just have to play with settings and leaving at different boost pressure.
