Well guys, how about a mid-week get together? I am meeting up with Pat this week so he can pick up some tail lights from me Wednesday night at the Dunkin Donuts in Boonton. If anyone else would like to join, they are more than welcome to. We should be meeting up around 7 or so in the parking lot, so hopefully some other folks can take the ride over and shoot the bull with us.

 

I thought we were meeting up for a beer?! Now it is coffee, I just don't know about all this. Then again it is close to 45 min. away, so I guess DD works this time around...

 

I think I drank enough beer over the weekend for the both of us, so coffee would be better for me. I have to rest up for the weekend.

 

OMG, where is the shiftin gears layin rubber smiley ?????? freakin tranny is soooooooo different its like a new truck, with a fresh set of steel OO. Late and I gotta get goin to work but what a difference, Best part is on the way out I reset the overhead mpg, 18.8 mpg. Reset onm the way home, 20.5 mpg. Now I know its just the overhead, but thats not just some fluke, and its not all down hill on the way home, same route, same roads Nothing changed. Took a looooong day to finish, parts on the truck like bein where they were, and Dodge changed a tollerance inside that ended up making them have to mahine down one of the final clutches.....20 thou had to come off. Good bunch of guys that worked their buts off all day and all nite. Got there at 8:15 am, left there at 11:45 PM. two hours drive is all and they are ready for the next truck. talk more later I gotta jet.

I might be able to, its a bit early but I think I can swing it, as long as you guys hang out for more than a few minutes. Is that the one just off 287, wanaque exit I think ? so different to drive, no more spinnin 2 grand just to go up some measly hill, makes the engine seem a lot more grunt down low, and sound wise too, set off 2 car alarms on the way home and not in areas I normally do. still exhausted tho, way long of a day. As for my -phone bein off, gotta remember, next yell works better than any nextel.

We are meeting at the DD down there off of 202 apparently, we could meet up more locally if you want.

Yeah its right over next to the new Hess and the McDonalds on route 202 in Boonton (Myrtle Ave). Pat, if you want to make it somewhere on 23, that works for me as well. We could meet up in Butler/Kinnelon area if you guys want, doesn't matter to me.
