well I finally got my truck back after 3 weeks......new rear from jasper....all new brakes all the way around ,upper and lower ball joints,wheel bearings....now my *** is killing me......still need steering box and new track bar

Word on the street is a couple diesels were tearing up Island last night... possible 12.3 & 13.2 ? Nice runs fellas, wish I was still a local and could hang out more.

 

It's to bad we were only able to get in one run a piece before being shut down due to rain.
Now if we could only get Mike to boost up his launches a little bit higher, he'd be in the 12's.

I almost headed up there but saw the rain on the windshield around 5 and figured that they would shut it down. Mike confirmed that at 7:30 when he called me to tell me about his run. Congrats to the both of you, excellent times!

 

Any one thinking of running down to fall brawl? I think I may actually have time to go. Prolly Sat. for me, I don't want to roll home late on Sunday. I would convoy but my slow first gen may not keep up.

 

I'm going. I leave real early in the morning, usually 4 AM. I'll be bringing my two boys with me.

 

I will be runnin down Sat morning, but most likely returning sat night, I have another commitment Sunday that I need to take care of.


I know rain is in the am forecast for tomorrow, anybody else thinkin of one last shot at test/ tune friday night ? I know a few of us have stubs good for an entry........ then Saturday am its off to Raceway park for the diesel truck race.......... I beg you, mercilessly, to show up at this event and make what we can of it, or we may never get the chance to have our own race again.

 

Most likely sat for me along with mu buddy and i guess we will hook up with the train conductor on our way out

from what I can see the gates at englishtown open at ten am on Saturday for a street class race, says our gates open at 12........ well I am not gonna wait till noon to go in, I will be there for a while so I can get ready to run. DD sounds like a plan, what time ? say 8:30 there, and leave at 9 am ?

tranny feels like a brick shiat house,...steering is def better, but now i definately need an alignment, which i should be getting tomorrow....oh yeh my egt gauge just went down, lol more BS....im ditching that one gauge and getting a digital gauge that shows boost and EGT, i can read that so much faster, so now ill have 2 boost gauges like im suppose to.
