I was looking forward to bringing back some good event news to share with everyone. The professional teams where there in force and it was shaping up to be a grand diesel event.

It took a couple of ....... sorry I don't have the vocabulary to describe how or what I feel about the people who took it upon themselves to ruin it for everyone.

Myself, Brian, Sandi and Jerry are very disappointed in the cancellation of the drag event.

So much effort was put forth by sooooo many people to make this event, all for nothing. It's a darn shame.

It rained alot that afternoon and made that place a mud hole!

That night some DB went in there and did doughnuts, hooked truck to truck stuff, tore up the park that was next to the strip (did like $15,000 in damage) to top it off they ran the trucks down the strip. From what info we got you couldn't tell it was a drag strip!

The cops did catch them, but still!

 

I got a call from a customer that went out there telling me about all that. What a bunch of Jack@$$es, glad the cops caught them and I hope they pay severely for their stupid actions. Did they end up sled pulling?

 

if those dweebs are on this forum they should be booted out!! thats not cool at all we already get enough crap for the black smoke and loud exhaust and now junk like this?!?

 

Ya they did the sled pulls, b/c it was at a different location!
