Possible Dyno Day?????

I have received several calls from our NCDTR #18 on possibly having a dyno day before the end of the year. I have spoke with our friend Wayne Murphy at "Waynes Dyno and Performance" on hosting a dyno day sometime in November. How many of you would be interested in doing this?

Please let me know.

Thanks.

I would definitely be interested, John.

I've been cypherin a recent dyno run and passes at local tracks and would like to verify a few things . .. .

- About a month ago, I ran the 1/8th at Coastal Plains in 8.03 (12.87 1/4th).
- About two weeks ago, I ran the 1/8th at Dunn-Benson in 8.12.
- Yesterday, I ran the 1/8th at Piedmont in 8.22.

> Coastal Plains is at 15' elevation.
> Dunn-Benson is at 253' elevation.
> Piedmont is at 837' elevation.

Today I ran on a FlowJet 248C at 305' elevation and made 433/1007.

I wonder what it would put down with the "Good air" at Jacksonville?

I might like to swing the trip and do my video thing, but I wouldn't be going on the rollers. I'll also be making a trip to Tenn sometime in Nov as well which might cause a conflict.

Miss all my NC 18 buddies. It was good seeing some of you guys again at Piedmont.

Thanks for all your replies and interest. I appreciate it.

Brian, I have not gotten any firm dates from Wayne yet but will let you guys know as soon as I do. I wanted to gauge the interest on having the event before I committed anything to Wayne. But it looks like we can have a good turnout.

My thanks to all of you.

I have an update and more info for this event.

I talked with Wayne Murphy today and he told me he would like to have this Dyno Day the first week/weekend in December, which is Saturday December
4th, 2010. This should give everyone enough time to plan and get ready for this and the weather should be cool so our trucks will run better.

I am going to start a list here so I can let Wayne know how many trucks we will have. Please add your name if you plan to attend this event.

1.) John_P
2.) Nate
3.) Dan (cadash)
