Sponsor addition

Chapter 18,
Just wanted to let everyone know that I was able to obtain two additional
sponsors for our event. Cummins Atlantic and NAPA have offically commited as of today to help support our event. I would like to give both Cummins Atlantic and NAPA a very special thank you for there support at this years event.
As, you folks know Mike Dolan and John Porterfield have worked very hard to put together the BEST event that we have ever seen! I hope that we get as much out of this event that was put in to it! Sponsorship is not as easy to come by, as some may think, and these sponsors will be watching to see that their budget was well appropriated. SOOO... That means every warm body that has a diesel truck with an itch to scratch needs to show up for this event. NO EXCUSES! If the turn out is low, sponsors will not take it lightly, and possibly not support our industry next time. I hate to ramble on and beat a dead horse, but if you boys, and ladies, are going to "be a part" then you need to make arrangements on your calander for this event.
Thats all for now folks!

Brian:

My sincere thanks to you and to "Cummins Atlantic" and NAPA for their sponsorships! Your point is very true on the participation of all our Members for this event. I would also add that we all need to give these generous sponsors our business when we need products for all of our trucks.

Thanks again.

Brian

WELL PUT.

I too want to thank John P and Mike D for all the time they have put into this upcomming event. I plan on being there as I have been to every event that we have had since I found this great group of guys and gals here at DTR.

With fuel prices what they are now I can see how some of our members that live far away won't be able to make it, but if there is 1 event that you can make this looks like the one to come to.

I'm not the one to make it to all the events we have in NC and VA, but I have been to alot of events with John P, Johnner, Mike D, Keegan, Brian+sandi, Chris D plus all the VA members. I have put a ton of miles on my trucks to support the NC + VA chapters and I would love to see everyone make it to this event as we try to make most of the other events.

Thanks CRIS

Thanks Brian for the sponsorship these guys have provided and it would be real nice if everybody would show up for this event that can possibly make it.
Thank you for all the sponsorships that have stepped up to make this event big.

It will be a real great time at the dragstrip and dyno with everyone out there.

If I don't have my truck back together I will still be there to help make the turnout better. I WILL BE THERE FOR THIS EVENT!

I want to extend a personal "Thank You Buddy" to Brian B. for putting forth the work to help garner sponsorship for our event. Also, Thank you to Cummins Altantic and NAPA for helping us put forth a really nice event.

Now it's up to all of our great membership body out there to make an effort to pass the word about the event. Hopefully, Keegan will be putting the finishing touches on the event flyer.

I plan on being there. Just won't put my piece on the strip since it's still a dog. I keep telling folks just how off the hook Camp Lejeune and Jacksonville area is for diesel trucks with a little something/something done to them that would show up for an event like this. I think if a couple of us guys that work on Camp Lejeune Mobilized ourselves with a small stack of flyers in the center console we could surprise alot of people with an eastern Carolina turnout. I'll wait for the final polish of the flyer to hit and knock a stack out of my color printer and put them in my console. I can hit everyone down at Courthouse bay and a bunch at Mainside too. My question is this: is it ok to put flyers under windshield wipers on base? Or Should I take care just to only give them out to these trucks when I see the owner with them?

Dynoman, do you work on LeJeune or the air station? I know a bunch of guys that would be interested on the air station. Flyers would be great.

We're waiting on Keegan to put the finishing touches on the flyer. Hopefully, we'll have something real soon or at least before Rockingham.

So will the flyers not be available via computer for print off? If so I'm going to have to get with someone to get some also.
