There are a few on here that have really worked to find that limit. I keep a healthy dose of diesel bug vaccine in my system so I hopefully won't have to find out.

I don't know about that Mark! While I would agree, the 3rd Gen Headgaskets are better than those on the older 12 valve or 24 valve engines, there are still PLENTY of them that have let go with studs. Here is a "short list" for you of the guys that I know of here: masonic_dodge, Unruly NFS, Timinva. And in no way do I feel that the stock 3rd Gen HG's are as good as the set-up I have on my 1996 Dodge CTD. Although, that is close to "overkill."

John, no arguement with you on that one. I was just commenting on how well they hold up for stock.
