Last Dyno Day Of The Year/Sat., Dec 19th

I wanted to invite everyone to join us for what will be the last event/dyno day of 2009 to be held Saturday December 19th, 2009 from 10:00 A.M. to
4:00 P.M. @ "National Speed" located at 6779 Gordon Road, Wilmington, N.C.
For those of you that have not been there, this is a new "state-of-the art"
facility. The owner, George Taylor and my good friend Bobby Downes (dperf)both have been very cordial to our NCDTR#18 crew and we just had a dyno day there about three weeks ago. This event was set-up by one of our own Members, namely, Cliff Hutton (clif_dodge) who will be there with his newly rebuilt sled puller/race 2001 Dodge CTD with a P-pump which Cliff says should hit or get close to 1,000 H.P.

Lunch is always provided by George and his Staff and his entire Crew always do a great job for us. So,.....if you want to see what your truck will lay down on their Dynojet 248 or just come by to watch some great running diesel trucks this is the day to do it. The charge for the dyno will be THREE (3) RUNS for $50.00, a very good price.

I'm looking into my schedule. I won't dyno, but I think I can swing a trip out there if work is covered.

John,

Me, Phil and Dan will be up at his place putting the tranny together. Wish I could make it, but have to get ready for the trek to Montana for Christmas and New Years.

For about 4 months...But I am getting it done...this will be the McMopar 99% tranny for me. Extra clutches, billet band parts...all the whistles. I am VERY excited...ask Phil, I bet he is tired of my PM's. Not to be confused with my PMS, that'll come when I crack my head again on the transmission cross member.

You don't have to convince me about Phil's abilities, he has worked on the trannies in my Dodge CTD Pickups too Nate! I know he will get yours running great.

So far, work is not covered. There's one other person I'm waiting to hear back from who might cover this shift.

Looking at coming to this if I'm not tied up at the shop (depends on if the customer's lift kit gets here tomorrow).

Are there any class separations? Fuel only, single turbo, stock, ect? Are there any prizes for the highest numbers in any of these classes? Depending on that stuff I may be able to round up quite a few people.

Dustin:

None of that stuff you mentioned at this event. George Taylor (Owner) usually has trophies for highest horespower and highest torque but it is not "broken down" like it is at some of our diesel events.
