congrats John P. for diesel World!
Yeah John P really deserves the recognition
Great guy and even with as much effort as he puts into his own vehicle, he has worked twice as hard helping others with their projects.
John P is a true Gentleman in the Diesel Performance World and I am proud to call him my friend.

Hey John,
I was in one of the shoppetts on base today and saw a Marine with a diesel magazine, asked where they were, went over to the stand and low and behole, there was Diesel World. Picked it up and knew that your was your truck on the cover!
Great Job and and seems like an excellant write up! Hope to see it in person one day.

My sincere thanks to ALL OF YOU for your kind words!
I appreciate all your comments very much. I am very honored to have had my truck featured in a major diesel magazine like "Diesel World", but never thought it would actually happen!
To give you all some background on how all of this happened, I attended the "ATS Truckfest" in Denver, Colorado WAY back in July of this year. My good friends there at ATS (Clint and Ranee Cannon and their entire Staff) asked me to show my truck in their shop on Friday during their yearly dealer meeting. So, I cleaned it all up, waxed it and put it on display with several other trucks including my buddies Jimmy and Dale Smiths' Pro-Street DHRA Drag truck. During that day, Clint Cannon introduced me to the Editor of "Diesel World" Magazine, namely, Kevin Wilson. I don't know if any of you have met Kevin or not, but he is really a great guy. Very friendly and sincere and also extremely knowledgable about our diesel trucks which I have found is not always the case with some of the other diesel magazines.
It is funny because Kevin was there to cover the event, had actually looked at my truck, but walked on by as it does look pretty "stock appearing." Well, Clint Cannon asked me to "raise the hood" for Kevin Wilson and it was then that he seemed alot more interested in the truck. We began talking about it and he then asked me if I would be interested in the truck appearing in an upcoming issue of "Diesel World." Of course I replied "Yes, I would" and at that point he handed me about a 6-8 page "Biographical Data Sheet" which he asked me to fill out for him. Later that day, myself, Jimmy and Dale Smith and the owners of a couple other diesel pickups followed Kevin Wilson and his Photographer, Chris Neprasch up to an area behind ATS' Facility, where Kevin and Chris took a bunch of photos of the truck, many of them now appearing in the magazine. Kevin told me it would be a few months before the truck was featured but told me it would be in there.
Way back in 2003 at Rockingham, N.C. I was approached by a guy identified as a writer/photgrapher for "Mopar Action Magazine" asking if I wanted to have my old 2002 Dodge CTD 24 valve in their magazine after I beat a Dodge Viper SRT-10 Pickup twice in drag racing there. Well he took a bunch of pictures etc, but my 2002 NEVER got in that magazine!
So, with my 96' I was hoping it would get into "Diesel World" but didn't want to get my hopes up too high if you know what I mean. But, true to his word, Kevin Wilson got my truck in there!
I am honored to be in there and want to thank my friend Clint Cannon for introducing us, also Kevin Wilson and Chris from "Diesel World" for even
considering my truck for their magazine and finally to Scheid Diesel, ATS Diesel, Bobby Downes @ Downes Performance for being the ones to get my truck to where it is today.
Thanks again to all of you though for the nice comments! I enjoy this sport very much and am proud to call all of you my friends.
