Waco Meet........in Lewisville

DFW dyno day is July 23rd ( Saturday ) at the old Speedworks in Lewisville.

Ok, it's time for you guys to drive North. Instead of meeting in Waco In July, let's do it in Lewisville and get some new dyno numbers.

Anyone know where Speedsworks is?

Yeah, it is a little cool up here. It's only about 97* today.

Is Hunter going to make it?

The FASS is doing OK. I've quietened it down some buy re-arranging the motor clamp bracket. This week I'm suppose to pick up my kit to run the bigger lines to the VP44. Dan is also giving me some matting to put between the pump/motor mounts that is suppose to deaden the whine a little more.

I'm down for the dyno day. I went to a dyno day at the same place about 3 years ago and the truck made 285hp. I expect to see atleast 300 this time around...310hp if i'm lucky.

Maybe we can get a convoy headed that way and have some fun on the interstate. Makes for a quick trip that way.

You don't have to be in your truck to be there.

We've all been in tuff situations when it comes to our rides. Drive something else or get someone to bring you.

Yeah. I think hunter's gonna make it. He's dying to put his truck on the rollers as am I. He finally ordered an exhaust for the dang thing and a scotty 2 so hopefully the EGT's and smoke will come under control.

Look at the bottom of his post and send him a PM. Some folks don't like to give out a lot of personal info on the public forums.

I'll be there!

CR...Speedworks is east of 35 on 122 about 4-5 miles out of Lewisville. First right after crossing the river...at the store (Total Fuel, I think). Than a guick left and right....than 100 yds on the right!
Phone was - 972-395-9844. Probable still the same?

2k1yzfr1 - Their regular rate is $50.00. We should be able to negotiate $35.00 for 10 or more trucks. That's what the previous owners did (when their weekday rate was $35.00)...2 summers ago. Charlie?

What? Are you hinting that you want me to earn some of this big money I'm earning for being an officer in the DTR?

Would not think of it!

Actually, I called them right after posting here.
-New name is HPP Automotive. Same Phone #...Nice guys!
-Regular Rate for Dyno is $50.00
-July 23rd will be $35.00 per truck; need a good turn out to hold that price.
-They start at 10:00 am
The turn off of 121 is South onto Holfords Prarie Rd.

I'll be there by 9:30. Got to see these new twins of Codys!
