Hey BigRed, this is Jordan, Will's friend. I tried Will's (White 2500 QC LB 4x4 that raced) Smarty last night and it said "VIN locked". Do you think that the Smarty you were discussing hooking up to mine will be the same? I bet they are unfortunately.

I'm the former Smarty owner.....

IF Will unloaded it off the truck correctly, it should load to your truck no problem. Since it said "VIN locked", that leads me to believe it was not properly taken off of Will's truck. I wasn't there, i have no idea about whats going on...but thats my educated guess.

ah, ok, so if he unloaded it from his truck, that would mean that he'd have to reset his computer to stock settings right?

Do you think it would mess up the Smarty in any way if we did that? I'm just trying to see if I like it before I invest the money.

man you are crazy driving around like that...but more power to ya...you got the ***** to not even care.

I'll buy you some oil after that incident, kinda makes me feel bad. I've never seen anyone grinning looking at the puddle and trail of oil from their own truck.

I could be mistaken but I don't think it's the puddle of oil that Joseph was grinning about.

good for him....he's a good guy with a heck of a sleeper!

12 valve w/ twins w/blown headgasket vs stock turbo-ed 3rd gen.....and my truck was in the lead til 95mph (according to my speedo, which is off like his, so we aren't really sure). it was a good time

so tyler you tell me when you are ready to launch in 4wd at 20psi.....then you can talk about racing

It would be fun to see what Joseph can do once he fixes his head gasket problem and turns his wastegate back up from 35psi.

As soon as you start driving your own truck again. I'm always up for 20 psi launches.
