You do realize that everyone gets busted if we get caught, right? Not just the driver.

Wouldn't be the first time it's been done.

yea but hopefully i would only get ticketed and not end up in jail

we need to stop that crap....thats way too riskly plus will give diesel drivers a bad name...and i think we have a bad enough sterotype anyway....have you noticed the lingering smoke cloud when we get there/leave?

racing is fun but lets take it to a track. I'll personally pay your diesel to come up to Ennis...with a university ID card its $12 to race as many times as you can pull up to the line from 6pm-midnight. I'll be there around christmas meeting up with another DTR member anyway if you want to come. (oh yea its close to James' shop too mr stock shafts.)

Ennis huh? I prefer my home turf down at baytown which is where I'm headed on friday. I agree though that we need to stop that. It's way to dangerous and risky and we do give ourselves bad names. I'll let ya know about heading up there when it gets closer. Still to early to tell whether or not I'll be in Texas or Oklahoma.

Also, if anyone's going to jail it's going to be the owner. Kinda the nice thing about being in the back. At least I can claim that I just drove up on yall and wasn't any part of it.

Well Ennis is my home turf. I guess we both prefer our home locations. I've ran the track at Ennis almost 20 times now. I really like it Ennis' track.

To be honest I've only run once on an 1/8 mile and I was not quite all there and had a bad time. Ran a 10.8 with 373hp. Let's just say that I won't be making that mistake again.

Just like football, everyone wants their home turf. Watched an NHRA event down there at ennis and didn't like the way they had to keep prepping the starting line and relaying rubber and stuff on it. Other than that it looked nice. Reason I like Baytown is because it is THE fastest track in the country if not the world.

Of course I'd deny it in front of the law I'd expect you to also.

based on your info, i may be visiting Baytown. I haven't experienced the problems you describe at Ennis....the only problem i have with Ennis is the lack of diesels. One night i was one of 2 diesels there....the other a 17 second duramax at that point i was mid 14's....and numerous people kept asking what i had....it was ridiculus. They are diesel ignorant up there.

Well when I went it was 4 and 5 second nitro methane cars tearing it up. Don't think our trucks make quite that much power.

Ennis is pretty cool. They will even let ATV's run the track if you have a long sleeve shirt, jeans, and a helmet. Don't know about 40's though
