BrIan, so sorry to hear about your HG troubles!! That really 'blows', literally and figuratively!!

Mike, a BIG THANKYOU for getting BrIan home with his truck.....via that beautiful custom gooseneck!!

Also, a HUGE BIG THANKYOU to both of you 2 and also Justin for the help with the install and use of tools for the GDP Walbro Fuel System. This system ROCKS!! But, I would still be sitting at Charlie's place without your experienced hands and eyes helping me get this thing together!! I understand, pretty much, all of the concepts of these things, but making the wrench do it's job in my hands I come up short sometimes and I am forever grateful to you that can shine that guiding light for me at times!!!

Mike I also owe you a big thankyou for Friday with the help on my ATV with that custom fabbed hitch and the front differential and A-Arm bolts!!

BrIan I know you hated to hear the words "Fuel Tank Removal"!! But it was definately alot easier than I thought it was going to be. Thanks for getting in there with me and knocking that thing out!

Justin.....thanks for all the time in the dirt and on top of my engine bay and experienced hand with all the fittings!! I think you have done a couple of these!!!

And.....I don't want to leave out Charlie. Charlie was big help too on the Vent Tank Mod parts install!! Thanks also for the use of your place for the GTG.

And.......ALSO.....Thanks Rowland for your assistance on figuring out the reasoning behind that fuel venting (regarding the unvented fuel cap). I have that "T"d hose up very high now above the filler cap....and looped and facing back down with the filter attached.

The whole system seems to be working great and as planned. I can fill the tank up to the rim until it runs out if im not careful!! I left Sedalia and went to Anna to fill up...........and put in 36 something gallons (on a 35 gallon tank)...after putting in the 5 gallon tanks worth...and still had about 2 gallons in the tank to start.

Fuel pressure is reading 18-18.5 psi at idle and drops at most 1 psi at WOT so far ....Smarty on 3.

BrIan, Mike, and Justin.......Your beer is on me at the next GTG!! Name your brand. I know BrIan wants Dos Equis Amber. Mike and Justin??

THANKS Mike for getting Brian home. Hats off to you!
P.S: I took LOADS of pics of the event, well, while I was there anyway. Living so close, I slept in my own bed.

Following Charlies advice, I picked up the engine cleaner he uses. I promise from now on, my engine bay will be clean. I was embarassed to open the hood. It was bad, real bad.

The way you looked, I didn't think you woke up until around 11:00 am. Granted your body was moving, but I think was by sheer will power...

Hey aggiejustin, when I was working on my window mod, did you mention something about how to do it if you have power seats? My wife was checking out the work that got done on my truck and now wants to the mod, but she has power seats.

I can not tell a Lie..... It was me
(I was born modest, but it wore off.......to quote Mark Twain)

Actually, Brian started it (it WAS his mess) and Rob, Justin & I chipped in a bit.

Wayne, No problem. I was curious to see your opinion of the differences.... alway interested to see how different builders do it. Did not realize you thought it was that different, other than the low stall speed on the torque converter??

Charlies mod will also work for someone with power seats, you'll just have to work around both breakers being installed.

But what I did was make four short jumper wires with a male spade on one end and a female spade on the other. I used the jumpers to swap the power feeds on the breakers, so that the power windows are now always on and the power seats are only on when the key is on.

This way when I lean into the truck to grab something, my "center of gravity" doesn't move the seats when it hits the seat controls.
