TXDTR#8 (North Texas DTR) - March 2007
Hey jeremy, I got a sweet deal on a ksb-1 if your interested. Would cool and spool better than that 40.
Dan, I'm trying to talk the BCS guys into coming up there but they are to much of a pansy to drive up there. I'm all down for it though. I'm gonna try and get some of them to come up after the dyno in buda.

Holy oh my goodness jee wilikers cow!!! I just put my DD3's in and WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!
Give me a call Tyler and lets see what we can work out. 940-704-7251
so Edge says the only difference in the comp and the drag is the defueling points 2700 vs 3200... but no difference in HP..SOOO if the smarty eliminates the defuel why would anyone do the Drag comp if you don't gain any HP???
RJ,
Sounds like a blast! I can't make this weekend, but maybe a future time i'd love to come up and see this. Maybe even participate after tranny mods.
For those of you that do not know it yet, (and Diesel-Dan does, cause I contacted him personally first
).........I have a new Walbro 392 competition fuel pump, big line kit, and 2 micron filter set up and vent tank mod kit from Richard at GDP. So some time this Spring im going to try and tackle this job and get this thing installed. My days of the FP gauge going down to Zero on Smarty 9 will soon be history!
Dan was very understanding about my preference of the GDP set up, and I really appreciate that. No slap against FASS....I just prefer the Walbro set up.Also, my Rail Pressure gauge just arrived today as well. I am planning to go to a triple gauge set up on the A-pillar and keep my triple set up in the dash, but just move some of the gauges around. I am adding another temp gauge too, prob for engine oil...or maybe rear diff.
Now, if I can just come up with some funds for Trans upgrades!!
Looks like the weather man is right on for this weekend...so trip to Ardmore will probably fall through. Have to wait till next friday night to try & better my 1/4 mile times.
They put lights in last yr... but none on their fairly short runout! Makes it interesting when you can't see how much room you have left to stop a 7500 lb truck from 100+ mph.
Interesting Note: Ardmore Raceway is the oldest continuously operating drag strip in the US!
