Dan, I'm trying to talk the BCS guys into coming up there but they are to much of a pansy to drive up there. I'm all down for it though. I'm gonna try and get some of them to come up after the dyno in buda.

So much for waiting for the GTG to do injectors.

You've fell right into our diabolical scheme much faster than Rob and I ever thought.

That ksb-1 was installed at charlie's place on my truck and it sure would be nice to continue the tradition. I'd sell it to ya cheap. Even offer financing.

One of these days we need to make a list of all the wrenching we've done in Sadelia.

What can I say, I am way to impatient. I just did some reading and the job went real easy, it only took me about an hour and a half. Not to bad for never having ever done it.

Aight. I'll call ya after I get out of CAD. It sucks being a whiz with computers. You get done way to fast and have to wait for everyone else to catch up.

so Edge says the only difference in the comp and the drag is the defueling points 2700 vs 3200... but no difference in HP..SOOO if the smarty eliminates the defuel why would anyone do the Drag comp if you don't gain any HP???

Just the GN? How about a gray 3rd gen and a strong back to go with it?

Too true, Charlie!

Not to mention the fine young Cabin Boy who'll be doing most of the Grunt Work

We need a break - this is the 3rd household we've moved this year...

Ryan, I dynoed with the normal comp and drag comp and it made the exact same peak power but gave me 40hp more from 2700-3200rpm. Did the same on hunter's truck. Haven't played with one since I got the smarty though.

RJ,

Sounds like a blast! I can't make this weekend, but maybe a future time i'd love to come up and see this. Maybe even participate after tranny mods.

For those of you that do not know it yet, (and Diesel-Dan does, cause I contacted him personally first ).........I have a new Walbro 392 competition fuel pump, big line kit, and 2 micron filter set up and vent tank mod kit from Richard at GDP. So some time this Spring im going to try and tackle this job and get this thing installed. My days of the FP gauge going down to Zero on Smarty 9 will soon be history! Dan was very understanding about my preference of the GDP set up, and I really appreciate that. No slap against FASS....I just prefer the Walbro set up.

Also, my Rail Pressure gauge just arrived today as well. I am planning to go to a triple gauge set up on the A-pillar and keep my triple set up in the dash, but just move some of the gauges around. I am adding another temp gauge too, prob for engine oil...or maybe rear diff.

Now, if I can just come up with some funds for Trans upgrades!!

Looks like the weather man is right on for this weekend...so trip to Ardmore will probably fall through. Have to wait till next friday night to try & better my 1/4 mile times.
They put lights in last yr... but none on their fairly short runout! Makes it interesting when you can't see how much room you have left to stop a 7500 lb truck from 100+ mph.

Interesting Note: Ardmore Raceway is the oldest continuously operating drag strip in the US!
