We were all so excited (except for Dan who was sleeping) about Justin showing this weekend..... we're speechless.
Actually, Charlie is traveling (just called me)... Rob is keeping us safe from Islamic Jihad.... I'm working for a change, so I can take tomorrow off.... Mike is making Traction bars (I hope).... Brian's testing 80% Meth mixture (so he's king of our hill on Sat.).... and Tyler is busy constructing his new "Signature" to include 500 HP! The rest...??

I have had quite an eventful last couple of weeks at work! I almost killed a guy 2 weeks ago (drug dealer thug) who had just shot a guy (another thug) who was committing a home invasion robbery of said (1st) guys drug house. Ambulance people were working on my dead (dying) guy laying in a pool of blood...I was first and only police on scene.....when dude number 2 decides to come running out to "taunt" the guy he just shot. But he had the shotgun he used still in his hands!! My trigger was already pulling back when he quickly complied with my commands to drop it and get down!! He went downtown, but he was actually in the right and wasn't charged. Grand jury referral. That was about the closest I have come to actually smoking somebody. He thanked me several dozen times.
Tuesday, arrested a guy with $1.3 million dollars (yes MILLION) worth of warrants out of Laredo for 3 counts of Agg. Robbery and 2 counts of Engaging in Organized Crim. Activity (gang). He ran from a fellow officer off of a traffic stop. We chased him into a neighboring apt complex and he just about impaled himself on a metel spiked fence. Fortunately for him, it only got his blue jeans instead. Fence saved us, because he was a lot quicker...only 20 years old. Not fat like me and carrying 30lbs of extra gear on top of that.
Last night....I had a dog get hit by a car and died. The owners found it and were laying on a busy 6 lane street literally hugging their deceased pooch. Very upset and emotional as you can imagine...but about to get themselves killed in the grieving process. Me and a partner wrapped their (90+ lb) dog in a bed sheet and carried the body back to their house a couple hundred yards away for burial. You just never know what your gonna come across in Dallas!
