The truck pull will be part of the 'Field Day Of The Past' celebration in Centerville, Va. There will also be tractor pulls, and lawn tractor pulls . I shouldn't laugh. I'll bet there are some respectible pullers in the lawn tractor class out there someplace.<br><br>Anyway, the truck classes are Wreckers, Dump trucks, Road Trucks, Open Classes, and Street Trucks. It will happen in the evenings on Sept 19th and 20th. Registration is 20.00 and takes place between 17:00 and 18:45 on Friday, Sept 19th. Must have a valid drivers license.<br><br>Note: this is NOT the &quot;Centreville&quot; in Northern Va. The location is I-64, West of Richmond, about 14 miles, Exit 173, go South an 1/8 of a mile.<br><br>If anyone wants more info, let me know.<br><br>Chris

This sounds good to me. Maybe we can have our Sept. Chapter #7 meeting on that day or that weekend. I am thinking of pulling my STOCK truck ;D I may hook up that PM3 on my wife's and have her pull against me.
I'll have to find the location on this.

This is easy to find, just take I 295 north to the west side of Richmond and get on I 64 west. It is the first exit, Rockville-Manakin exit, once you get on 64. Make a left and the grounds are right there. Unfortunately for me, that is the weekend we shut down at work so I shan't be there.

 

This sounds like only about 4 hours away for me so I think I will try and make it.

That is a short trip. On Thursday we will be leaving for a trip to MI (Alpena) and then a return on Sunday to NC. If you see us out there I run channel 19 and will be running a 1999 3500 4X4 black or a 2001 2500 blue 4X4.
