Field Days Of The Past, Sept 15-17th, Rockville, Va.
The Field Days Of The Past event is happening this weekend. Sorry such short notice, but I forgot to post about it.
There will all sorts of family type events, which you can see more on at http://www.fielddayofthepast.net
The truck part is the sled pulling, which takes place at 7PM on Friday night, and after the tractor pulls on Saturday night.
There are 2 classes, Gas and Diesel. This isn't a sanctioned event so the rules are a bit looser, and different. I have been told that they want to hook point around 20-22". I'm gonna see how high I can get away with.
If you want to watch the tractor pulls, they are Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon.
The web site above gives directions, but it is about 15 miles West of Richmond.
