Re:Torque At The Fort
One of the things we had planned for the Calgary event last year that never got off the ground were tech seminars. I'd like to see a few impromptu tech seminars at this event. Thus far, we'll be doing an injector swap on a 12 valve Dodge. We may do one on an 03.

Hmmmm, all this talk of injectors leads me to believe that Injector Master Don should get his fuzzy butt up north and lead the charge.

Rod

The good ole Calgary show...you had to go and mention that huh Rod? :'(
This had nothing to do with the manufacturers or vendors that arrived for the show...I was thoroughly disappointed with the fact that some of the integeral parts of the show that where delegated to other individuals that promised to do them did not. I learned from that. So now I basically do most of it myself with a small tight circle of folks I can count on.
The part I delegated was one of the most important parts...media promotion.
:'( All that helped and attended did an awesome job in the searing 100F/37C plus heat, high humidity and the 51* celcius temps in the dyno room.
Now if Don will reply to my PM's about the show...maybe he will attend and do a few swap outs of his new injectors. hint hint nudge nudge

Scott, this sounds like a great event. I knew a guy from back east who's into the strongman thing, Shane Murphy. I know he competed at an event in Calgary, but I think he still lives in eastern Canada. My back aches everytime I watch one of these events...love 'em.

I know Shane I met him in Halifax and Middleton Nova Scotia...one of the nicest guys in the sport.
He was in Calgary in 2000 [01?] for the All Strength Team Canada All Nations Challenge too.
