I would be interested in some type of get-together. Also,I am willing to help w/mods, not that I have done alot w/my truck, but have worked on my personal vehicles for 20 yrs, and prefer to do all maint and repairs myself. I will be replaceing upper and lower ball joints this weekend, at same time installing 1 1/2" lift up front(daystar coil spacer), and KYB monomax shocks.

gamiller31,

Your just the guy a lot of us have been looking for!

There are a lot of us that love our trucks, but have limited knowledge about repair and mods. This is a perfect opportunity for some of you in the Texas City area to possibly get the hands-on help or information you've been needing.

There are a lot of diesel jocks in the Houston area. If someone can come up with a date and place, I'm sure there would be a really good turnout down there.

Also, I got a pm from torguemech today about having a get-together in Waco. I'll keep everyone posted on what's going on.

Crumb!

I'm helping a friend and my B-inlaw at the drag boat races in Fort Worth this weekend. I don't get to see a lot of the races, but what-the heck.....free food and suds all weekend. Check out Jack's boat at jacksrbetterracing.com.

I'm sure there will be a good turnout in Waco.

Had eight trucks showup, had fun got some pumps turned up, turbos played with, liftpumps changed out, Overheads ran. Next get together, I'll be Fixing some KDP's . This will be a monthly thing, hope to see everyone.

Thanks for posting the pics! Hopefully, I'll be there next time.

Where did the BIG green monster come from? Is that one of the trucks that come out of Mexico?

Man. Could those pictures have been taken any more close up? I can't tell what's what. What are the "coupling levers" for? Are they on the stretch conversion truck?

The strech truck belongs to ,Quad-zilla (Wayne C), from FT Worth. It was done in Cleburne , Back in 97. Wayne took the pictures, only one to remember a camera. The couplers are on Weircummin's truck, he's running a VGT turbo and multiple breathers. There's more pictures as soon as they get downloaded I'll post a link.
