Man no weights where do you put all your weight, in the bed? Guessing their strict on not having any in the cab

 

what weights? i dont add anything but a full tank of fuel and my big rear end...7400lbs

and no weights in the cab, they say in the bed.

 

Dont you try to get yours close to 8000 when you pull

 

no, i dont have any weights and im not paying $100 for a 100lbs chunk of steel when i need 6 of them. i borrowed adams weights at the first QA pull in april, and i used 400lbs of concrete in kentucky and neither place did the outcome impress me.

maybe by next year ill end up getting ahold of some free suitcase weights and ill build a rack for them.

 

Might not make it now. Broke something in the trans 500 miles from home. More info after i figure out what we broke

 

I could prob hook you up with some suitcase weights for maybe a couple bucks

 

A buddy of mine said he had a bunch at his farm in Pa, i will see what he has, but i dont have the time or money right now to do anything with it.

i still need to spend a few hours playing with some steel to see how i can mount a rack up front.

 

TJ, you need to bring that thing up here and let me weigh it, my truck is 7480 without me in it, and a little more then half a tank.

That is awesome, hoping to add my truck to this years lineup, should still bae able to make it there, sadly, I think it will be 7 at the earliest by the time I get there gonna be well behind on my consuming and BS'ing

then comes the issue of sleeping in truck or setting up the tent. GF seems to think the tent is the way to go, who knew? haha
