Cool SASK DRAGS a SUCCESS...LOL

We had five Rams and an Oldsmobile??? present. We are planning a big event with a pull or drag competition later in the summer.
Some of the trucks had graphics added...

A group of folks in an Oldsmobile thought diesels were gutless...so we took their challenge and dragged them.

They decided to leave before we hooked up again. I think the front alignment was off a bit. Check that front wheel.

Actually I was awoken to crashing in front of the house before we got together. 7:00 a.m.

Some all night partyers had too many and when they snapped off the front left tire, they started totalling the car.

I snapped the shots as I was expecting them to move towards the house and I wanted evidence if they did anything.

The pix were still on the camera when we all got together and when I showed them, the idea was...hey lets say we dragged it.

Turns out it was their car and they figured since it was going to cost a lot to fix the front axle, they started trashing it.
Cops stopped them and handled it.

Sounded good about dragging it...so now we are going to do that...SASKATCHEWAN STYLE DRAGS.

It was a great little get together!! Thanks again Scotty!!

My yellow Thunder Kitty on the back window is an attention getter!!! Got a couple of thumbs up from a couple of Rams. Got on it with a Powerstroke but he bailed real quick when I pulled in front of him.
The best compliment I got was from Cletus and his sister Billy Bob in a clapped out Trans-Am just before Swift Current. Came upon these 2 clowns zipping along about 60 mph. Never seen a car flap sheetmetal so much and not explode!!! Played with these guys for about 20 miles but it got real boring. They could only go about 75 max!!! Well, I just drove away from them and got the 1 finger salute from both of them!!

I discovered that fuel mileage sucks huge when you maintain 105mph for 1/2 an hour!! Truck is super quiet though when it settles down at that speed. Ask Andy, he called me at that time and couldn't hear the truck!

Anyways, it was a good time. Got to put some faces with some names. Had some good BS sessions with everyone. Picked up my South Bend!!!!

Good times!!

Jeff

Thanks to Scotty for the get together. It's nice to meet in person the people I chat with or whose posts I read on this forum. I'm sure it will lead to bigger and better things in our hobby. Looking forward to dealing with you in the future ( maybe I can surprise my buddy and his little HEMI Truck!). . Thanks again,Mark

The folks at Custom Creations and the Stripe Shop will probably want/have us back since we never smoked them out.

They would like to do something this summer...
