OKC Dyno Event

Looking for some type type of head count for a dyno event in Oklahoma City, Chuck (owner) of Alternative Motor Sports is in the mood for an event for the trucks but would accept runs from anyone. I'm trying to see how many folks would show up to see if it's even worth putting it on, Reply on this post then we'll go from there but looking at something in late Aug so we have time to plan. He has a brand new Dyno-Jet and has the sensor for T/Q readings, same dyno I ran on and the shop is located on the edge of town and is easy to get to, highlights are me trying to crack the 700 mark.

Thanks, Jim

Jim,

Me too. I seriously doubt that I will have my twins built by then, but I'd love to watch you make the run to 700.

As for dates, the 23rd, 24th, or 31st would be best for me, but I might be able to get someone to cover at work for me.

Vince

Re:OKC Dyno Event

I have posts on here and the TDR about event, if it goes it would be on a Sat. I need to get some hose for my truck to route the smoke out of the shop....kinda spoils it.

Re:OKC Dyno Event

We don't even have a date yet, what I really wanted was a so called head count so Chuck could decide to put it on or not, one thing for sure is I need to get some hose to route my exhaust outside.

Re:OKC Dyno Event

We were talking today about doing the event on the 23rd of Aug. and doing it starting in the afternoon....(after noon time) as of now there are very few trucks wanting to dyno....maybe 10 so there is no reason to start in the morning and that is a normal work day for them. I'm keeping up on the posts to try and get some idea of how many trucks will show up.

Re:OKC Dyno Event

I'm thinking we can do it Noon-ish time but I will find out for sure. Sunday's are no good for me....Church, and Saturday's during OU football season are no good for Chuck.

Re:OKC Dyno Event

Well here's the deal on the dyno event, I will not make it with my truck but I'll be there to watch and help. Chuck and I talked today and he told me that they will be there from 9am-2pm and will stay longer but only of there are trucks to run. Pulls are $25.00 each(minimum of two) with the sensor for T/Q readings, if you want to test something then he will work with you on that too. I've only got responses from a few people but we decided to go a head and open it up to maybe spark some interest here in OKC. The date is still Aug 23rd and the shop number is 405-440-0933 and the address is 8608 W. Reno....those that know the area it's on Reno between Council and Morgan road going west before the bridge.
