Alrighty Fella's, hope you all had a great Christmas and have a great New Years'.

Well we should get this year off to a good start, and have a real meeting with a lot of members. Well I am open to suggestions...where should we meet? When? What do you guys want to do? speak up!

It would be nice to go to a shop or something like that. A resarount would be good too. Make sure to check it out this time though. The BW3's was a bit hard to find, my fault. Is Kokomo still a good city or should we chage the town? It would have to be after the 12 though for me. prety busy on break. Hope to see all of you soon!

 

I would say lafayette is a good town to go....isnt that where the diesel shop is down there? Thats my vote.

 

Scheide is located there. I only live about 20 min. away from there so that would be my vote too. I have never been there so I do not know if there is anything around it but there should be. I would say you need to call them before we ride in with a few trucks and take up some parking lot space.

 

We could go to Haisley machine in fairmont, then run up to marion and get something to eat. Sheids is alright though.

 

Welp fella's I just got the ball rolling. I just emailed Sheid Diesel in Lafeyette about a meeting there. I told them we would like to check out their facility and maybe do a dyno run for everyone. I also asked if they had a dyno. Does anyone know? I will find out whenever they email me back. Anyway who all is planning on going and when is a good time/date for everyone?

 

If you decide on Scheids I might be able to make it, its only an hr from me. I'm also open for just about any date now that i'm unemployed.

Scheide does have a dino. i think it is a mustang. There are plenty of places to hang out around there. during the summer i can hook us up with the local muscle car club to hang out with an maybe race!

 

oh ya and weekends only are good for me, anytime.

Well fella's I didnt drop the ball...I am just waiting for them to get back to me. If I dont hear from them by monday then I will give them a call. Maybe we should just surprise them one day and all of us show up.

If this Schied plan falls thru....does anyone have any Ideas on a plan B?

 

Well Haisleys is only 30 min. away from me. Bad thing is they are in the middle of the country. Is their a Dyno day in Indy comming up soon? Maybe Ft, Wayne, Kokomo, South Bend? I will look into some things tis weekend. Maybe I'll have my truck by the next meeting

Hey man, I say your are more than welcome! It's up to Andy505. You could be a member, but there is a S. IN chapter too so which ever one is closer. BTW Andy I am looking into going to a dyno with a few other diesel guys, some pullers, some just guys like us. Its in Noblesville but it seems like we could get a bunch of trucks there. I'll keep every one posted.

 

Sounds good with the dyno plan....anytime you guys can get something going that would be great!
