North Texas/Waco Group going to Baytown?

Who all is in for the DHRA event at Baytown Nov. 11,12?

Big Blue,

Any update on staying at your place? Camping? Liquid refreshments? Do you also have room for ATV riding there? I am considering pulling my camper down if we can.

As far as I know, it's still on. Charlie, Dan, Hunter, and I think Rowland are gonna come down here. Dan might bring his trailer. I've got 22 acres back home with electricity and a working toilet. No shower though. No legal room for ATV riding. No problem with the camper. Electricity might be a little bit of a problem. I'm definately going to baytown. I'd like to go with all of yall but if it don't happen that way, oh well. Yall start letting me know who's coming. Oh, and stay away from my dad, he might put ya to work out there. Liquid refreshment depends on what you bring and what you want. I'll see if my mom can't whip up some good spicy chili just for Rowland. If not, I'll bring the grill out and we can cook hamburgers and what not.

Without running the AC, two campers to one plug should not be a problem. I can bring 50'/100' of heavy duty extension cord and my heavy duty box.

Do I need to bring my handy-dandy fireplace? I'm sure you have wood to burn.

Tell your Dad that I don't mind working. I'll work real hard at drinking as much beer as I can, eating as much as I can, and sitting on my butt as much as I can. I thought everyone knew that that's the kind of work we retied people do.

Go ahead and bring your high dollar fire pit. We can make hunter scrounge up some more wood. Plugs for the campers aren't a problem, having enough cable is though. Dad doesn't know the meaning of retired or sitting around. Nor does he understand staying up late drinking with the buddies and being hungover the next morning and not wanting to build fence.

Sounds like a good time, but I think I'll be in the Dominican Republic again that weekend. If that plan gets changed, I'll see you guys there.

I got myself scheduled off from work for that weekend, so I am going to try and go.

I am trying to contact Hotdram and see if he will go and possibly split some fuel cost with me. Aggie J you are more than welcome to ride down with me if you find that you are not out of the country.

I have some cord for electric and I can bring my generator if need be. Like Charlie said though....prob won't need much power if the A/C units stay off. Hopefully in Mid-November it should be cool enough.....but I swear I thought Summer was never going to end around here. Whewww....Sept was a hot one.

We'll need Tyler to give us a weather report a few days before we go. Remember.....this is Texas weather.

Hey TexasCTD, got your phone message, but I don't know when a good time to call you is because of the shift work.
Unfortunately I can't go that weekend . Wife said something about friends coming in blah blah blah

Obviously Tyler doesn't know women that well. Wait, come to think of it, I don't think he knows anything about women!! "I enjoy being single" haha I love that quote. We all know Rosey loves you being single too!!

Can I assume you are implying that there is not coffee in the mugs, but something cool, bubbly and refreshing?
