Fajitas sounds good to me too!

Dan, not a problem on taking up a collection. When time gets closer and we know how many folks will be there, we can figure just how much of what we'll need. Everyone will need to bring their own drinks and whatever snacks or other munchies they might want. As those of you that have been there know, there is not a store or anything else real close. If you have the room to bring a little extra ice, it would be a good idea.

More later!

Got my tent, with room for 4 more...if needed.

Charlie, Don't forget to put the Sedalia sign back up

I'll try not to forget.

Are you going to bring some more of that good Kona coffee?

I have a propane grill up there, but will have to see what kind of shape it's in.

I'll need to check on the burn bans. For awhile, they had bans on everything ..... including smokers, grills, colman stoves, etc. The only thing you could use was something with a door, not a top opening lid.

If I read this correctly, we can now use the enclosed grill and the "iron ring" campfire.

The way I read it, that press release prohibits using any grill unless it has a firebox. And based on their description of firebox (A firebox is a unit that has a door as opposed to a lid.), it knocks out most of the regular BBQ pits . It even prohibits the Coleman grill.

Supposedly, it's raining pretty good up there right now. Hopefully all will be lifted by the 18th.

Just thought it might increase attendance by people knowing well in advance, when the next get together will be.
Seems like, in the past, every time we set a date... someone already has plans?

If it doesn't rain, you'll have to start watering the bathroom. Otherwise it might be some tough digging before you can get down to business.

You may be right!

Remember!.....my place is for "camping".....it's not a resort.
