For those of you who are coming to my place after the Dyno Day event, Saturday.....
You are all more than welcome to spend the night if that wasn't clear before. Plenty of room...the A/C will be on. Rowland gets first dibs on whereever he wants to sleep due to his back issues. (with the exception of not in my bed)
I hope Mike and I can get the new Lazarsmith black powdercoated 'SSSSS' installed along with new bushings on the Track bar. Hopefully that will end my "popping" issues and prepare my truck to roll on some 35's soon!

Hey all,
Long time lurker, first time poster
My truck is Tango Uniform. My lift pump died (just had the VP-44 replaced under warranty). I have a campaign pump and went to install it today but am having "issues". I got the old pump off, but two of the studs that go in the pump are still in the bracket that holds the pump. I need a second set of hands to hold the nuts on the bottom so I can get the ones off the top off. I am going to see if Brian can help me Saturday night or Sunday at my place, he was going to help me on Sunday at Robert's, but I can't get over there now with the truck. Brian, I live about 10 minutes from Robert's and can provide a lift to my place with my wife's car.
At any rate, I plan on coming over to Robert's (am leaving my Crown at home), as I won't be staying overnight. I also plan on being there Sunday, depending on when the truck gets fixed.
Thanks,
Rob

You'd think they would use the same loctite on the studs that they do on the nuts, then these things would never come apart. My first lift pump did the same thing. I remember laying on top of the engine trying to figure out which wrench fit the stud and trying to squeeze it between the bracket and the pump. Definitely was a little skinned up after trying to fit both arms down there to work two wrenches.

Mike just called, and my "stolen" camera showed up in the bed of his truck. That's a little strange since I was at the campsite the last time I had it and Mike was in the area getting ready to pull. I was looking for it to take pics of Mike's pull.........? At least I feel better that it probably wasn't stolen, but was probaby picked up after we got back to camp and placed on Mikes truck. After a few weeks rolling around in the back of Mike's truck, it's probably good that I went ahead and replaced it.

... I went by your place again the other day (we're just a couple miles down the road) - don't be too shy to ask for help when you need it.

I'm sure I don't think that's funny.

Anybody wanna buy a nice Cannon camera? It must be a good one since it still works after all of that rain and bouncing around.

alright guys, as of right now I probably will be swinging up there tommorow. We will see tommorow at 0500 (military time..). I will be checking up for last minute directions and everything so I will probably drop a line. I got Rowlands number so if I get lost I will call ya buddy. Turns out somebody is very interested in buying my truck so the mega cab might just happen sooner then I thought...I am sooooo excited. So to make things short I will be up there to watch and hang out with the awesome crew I hung out with before and to lend a hand wrenching if one is needed.

Scott, just come on over! Pillow, blanket, brew have you covered. Yep, Crobtex isn't available for this one. So, I just offered up my place if anybody wanted to come here. Nothing fancy, but it will give us a place to meet.

Unless somebody else has some ideas or preferences.....I will most likely be grilling burgers and maybe bake some more cookies.
If we have any gauge installation specialists.......I would really like to get my gauges installed/rearranged. I would like to move my pyro and boost to the A-pillar and out from the cubby under the a/c controls. I also want to install my Rail Pressure gauge to the A-pillar and move my FP from the A-pillar to the cubby. I have a FREE 3rd gen SRT-10 single A-pillar gauge mount with handle for whoever will assist me with my gauges!!!

Oh yeah, I was working by myself. I took two of each wrench and the magnetic pickup tool. But I still managed to drop them a couple of time out of reach/sight, so that I had to climb down and do it all over again. In that position, I was GLAD I was in the garage alone. Didn't need anyone else to see or hear that.
