dang, the only way to fill that line is to remove it from the back of the gauge...... unless you find a union fitting in 1/8th inch, like a coupling for joining it mid way, that way you could take out the light, cut the line, leave the pod in place, fill the tube, and join it behind the light assembly again

yepp, as much as I hate to, I guess one of these days I am going to have to re-battle that dammed pod. Why did I want to windshield one again?

Anyway, here is a rough pic, doesn't quite show the color/glow, but gives ya the idea. took care of the nasty gap, for some reason it the pyro is a little dim in comparison to the others?

and I was bored, so I swapped in the other HU that was in my back seat, have to decide which one to run... Again, not the greatest picture, also kinda shows the blue LEDs under the dash

hmm, now that I get to thinking about that pyro, I think the reason it is dimmer might be due to the lead wires that I used. I had the 12 or 14 ga. running off of the terminals, while the others have the 24ga. I am thinking that I am losing some juice through the larger, stranded core wire. have to put that on the list for the next day of battle.

hmmmmm have to admit, little less than excited today.
Fired up the truck this morning, had a pretty rough idle at startup and white smoke. scared of injector replacement, what other damage would this cause? really hopping it is something else, but that is what most seem to say

This might be pricey too, I am thinking the warranty is pretty much null and void from the Diablo stuff...

not yet. I was just thinking about going out and removing the program and shuttin off the puck while ai was eating. See how it behaves when I leave work. walkin out the door now to do so, also gonna see if there are any codes hangin out in there...

I looked around at some install stuff, if it is injectors this is going to suck. looks more in depth than I am comfortable doing myself.

I turned it back to stock yesterday, went to town and filled up and threw in a little extra PS. Started up this mornin, idle seemed normal again, but still had some white smoke out of the pipes Guess I will drive it like this for a day or so, think I should have a *********** look at it, or am I just getting overexcited?

oh, no new codes either.

btw, this stock setting crap has got to go

Pat, you may want to call the dealer and have them reflash the computer. There was a TSB on that not too long ago for white smoke and rough idle. I forget the number on it, but you may want to look into that.

Pat, pm Tom about the one he recently used...... no need to hang a dealer out to dry on a public forum, might not be there next time we need them.
Edit: to avoid double posting again, ......... I got word today that I should get my snow bonus June 15th, crossing my fingers that the funds might be there to get into the tranny a bit...... VB, TC , here I come, maybe.

I am thinking of doing a spray in bedliner soon. How long can I not use the bed for? Anyone interested in helping if I do it myself?
