I have the whole Isolator kit as well, just checked the supplied hose is 30" long.


off topic: anybody here have XM? been having troubles since yesterday with reception?!

 

For some reason 1/8" NPT (pipe thread) is no where near 1/8". All the NPT sizes are like that for some reason. I'm guessing it's going by the ID of a piece of pipe that would screw into the hole. IIRC, the hole you need to drill is closer to 3/8" than 1/4".

Truck is in this week to get fixed, put mirror on last week from another member over in Mahwah, $50 for both mirrors so could not pass that up.

Heading up to Burke VT this weekend to do mountain biking, should be a blast(another expensive a?? hobby i have an addiction too)

 

Got the first of many parts for my air horns last night. Met up with the conductor around 8:45 and walked out of the orange store at 10:00. Still have to go back for more parts, but thats next week.....

Tom, I grabbed that tank out of my folks garage today, dunno where the fittings went that wer on it, gonna need a few more...... also, we need to find you a inline air check valve, to keep the air in the tank, instead of it blowin back through the compressor..... knew I forgot at least one thing last night.

In case you were wondering, I removed my stacker tunes, turned off the puck and have been running around on performance since last night. This morning I had do dog it a little in fifth for a turning rig, when I got back on it to get motivating, it was straight smoke show. Haven't seen this thing smoke like that yet, way more than the stacker tunes Ford Exploder behind me was gone in the cloud


Felt bad for it for a second, then I was like pshhhh, its a Furd...

 

What time are we planning this shindig? Anytime that day works for me, but maybe since we are installing quite a number of time consuming things, we should make it early. Any objections to a 9AM start?

ha, yeah, the conductor is proud founding member of " I guess I'll sleep when I'm dead" club........ if the sun's up, I am, heck, ev en a half a moon shinin outside makes me stirr........ oh well gettin too late to head to riverdale, maybe next week. Tom, why don't ya touch those power leads to your battery and see if that sucker spins, touch th orange to pos, black to ground, and settle the question as to its working or not.
