Sorry guys.
After I sat down and updated all my records, I was in error and the new Chapter will be designated ONDTR#39 (not 38).
Sorry about the confusion Cheyne.
I'll make sure the logo and business cards are up to date.

Rich.

Hey,

Welcome to DTR! Do you, by any chance, know Detree? I figured Beaverton was small enough that there might be a good chance....you should hook up with him if you haven't already met...

I pm'd you regarding the chapter...

Cheyne

Are we still shooting for the end of the month? I think the first meet should just be a gathering so we can all meet each other and have a chance to look over each others trucks. Just something simple to get the ball rolling. I'm up for anywhere. I'll take a road trip.

I think we should shoot for the end month and yes, I agree that the first meet should just be a gathering to get aquainted.....then we can organize some wrenching sessions or whatever after that.

How March 31st look for everyone for a Saturday? Hopefully its a little nicer outside.

Post up dates that work and we'll figure something out. I'll be out of town on the 24th (hopefully driving down to pick up my gooseneck if they get it built on time )

I think March 31st would be great and since we are not getting anymore input from anyone else at the moment, I think we should go with that....now, we just need a location!

What are the specs on your new gooseneck? Is it for the Jeep? Where are you getting it from?

I'm buying it from Appalachian. 14k 24' steel deck over full tilt.
It's for the Jeep since it's becoming not street legal and our car (We have a 98 Camaro that is pretty modified that we take to the track). I've also got a small tractor that I use a lot for loading stuff into a little tilt snowmobile trailer but it used to take multiple loads since the trailer couldn't hold much and it broke last time I was using it so now I can load up a whole lot more and take it in one shot and still tilt and dump it. I'm getting the stuff now to build steel sides that will slip into the take pockets. They are building it using two trailer designs. Their long dump trailer but extending it back past the axles for a 24' length so when it tilts I can drive the car up it.

It looks like this...
