I didn't know Sedalia was on the table either. I thought this was just a one day thing this month, but hey...if ya'll wanna do Sedalia that is fine by me.

We can caravan up there after Lunch, instead of to my place, if you want.

I probably won't spend the night but I'll come up for the afternoon/evening.

The question has come up again about bringing wives, girlfriends, kids and pets. There are events set up with family participation, but this is not one of them.

Our get togethers in Sadelia are more of a "hunting camp" atmosphere then a family event. This being said, there has aways been drinking and profanity at these events. Nothing to the extreme of being illegal or out of hand, but it does happen. One rule we strictly adhere to is that if you drink....you don't drive. If you want to come and drink, cuss, eat and have fun, that's great, but don't expect us to let you put your truck on the road if you do.

As far as pets, Woody, my 130# dog, will not tolerate strange dogs....or strange people as far as that goes. He is not a threat as long as I am there.

This is not intended to offend anyone or keep folks from coming.....just to let you know what to expect.

Charlie's right - just think of it as a fraternity hazing - without the salsa, toilet bowls and peach-fuzz stubble (well, except maybe for Tyler )

... but it's still a good idea to have your significant other on call in case you need bail - 'cause we'll have already spent our paychecks on cheap beer, diet coke, Crown, OK beer, Captain and expensive beer - maybe some Jack if it's nipply outside

She would be the last person I call to bail me out
I would sit and rot before she came and got me.

Can I bring my banjo?

(And Tyler, leave your "Brokeback Mountain" DVD at home )

Actually the destination of the bus in the picture says "Salt Lake City".
Think that was an accident?

If the above two posts are examples of "poor Rob, who has to work hard on Saturday mornings"... than I no longer feel sorry for him!
Our defense dollars at work?

Well yall might not have to pick me up at all. Cruising down the freeway the tranny started flaring on me. So I think what's gonna happen is I'm gonna drive the truck up there friday, catch a flight back home for my friend's wedding thing, and then fly back up there on sunday. Hopefully it'll last till friday.

haha that seemed like a problem....Midlothian isn't close to DFW airport. if you know someone with a small plane, they could fly into an airport 15 minutes from James' shop.

As much as you're paying James, I kinda thought he might take you to the airport.

Tyler, Wouldn't it be cheaper and more convenient to just rent a little cheap car down near Midlothian? They (rental car place) will probably come pick you up in the car. Then you can keep it and drive it as much as you need, then take it back to Midlothian when your truck is done. That is what I plan to do whenever I finally make my appointment with James.
