Thumbs up

I'm not an under-car welder either unless it's an emergency!

At the shop, I just remove the down pipe so I can put it on the bench for tig-welding.

Only welded a gas tank once, long ago....

I don't care for duals on a SRW truck. They look good, IMO, only on duallys .

Tbone - is your straight pipe kit made for an 05??

That'll work. I have one set of stands and a couple of bottle jacks.

No problem. I will be glad too. Also, do we need an air compressor and/or generator for anything?

If Mike (XLR8R) is coming with his truck, he has quite an impressive set up of tools on that truck too. You will all be VERY impressed with his talents and ingenuity.

10-4 on the jack. Also, if it's not too much troublr, the gen and compresssor might come in handy.

Looking foreward to meeting Mike.

UM....forgot to post....i did put in a call to Jim Jones of Performance Diesel in Emory. If yall want, he said that you could Dyno that Sat. I dont know what cost. Pick someone to call him (I dont want 6 phone calls to him for the same thing! haha) and see how he wants to work it.

903-473-1144

Just tell him you are the DTR group that Dan talked to him about last Sat. Super Nice Guy!

Thought Tyler had already spoken to Jims son??
Maybe not.
I'm ready for another Dyno....Justin, with his new Smarty/TST stack, probably is also?
I'd like to go back there... for an honest "before and after" comparison with my new twins!
Their Mustang 250, when set up with no load, like a Dynojet, gives nice readouts, and it's just under an hour from Charlie's.

Anyone else??

Thumbs up tools/equipment

Guys - I'm driving my service truck up there, so I'll have stuff like this:
air compressor
tig-welder
plasma cutter
complete 18V DeWalt
arc-welder
oxy-acetylene torches
5KW inverter for power
refrigerant recovery unit
lots of hand tools
lots of test instruments
oh yeah - and lots of parts/hardware

I WON'T bring: floor jack, air tools, hydraulic winch, beer or my grease monkey (he's visiting his mother that week)

p.s. of course I'll have the fire extinguisher if the beer & tools don't mix well

I can bring a floor jack, and 4 jack stands.

Rowland, only person I've spoken to is Dan about that. I'm dying to get back on the rollers.
