Alright dropped the ball on getting new tires for my goose... Currently have a 7.50-16 and the load rating is unaceptable.. like 3100... I need a tire with at least a 3500lb rating at approx. the same size. Any suggestions? Many have pointed me to a auto tire like a 9 ply 235-70 or something with a 3450 rating, but are they really as strong as a 12ply?? Dont know a ton about trailer tires, but I've had 3 blowouts in the past year loaded heavy so something needs to be done.

3500 lb. 16" take-offs work pretty well on the GN - price is right, too!
I'm sure there's lots to be had.

p.s. you guys are giving me Plasma Inadequacy Syndrome

We've got a Sony 52" LCD in the theater room and a Samsung 52" LCD in the living room back home. Both are 1080p I believe. You talk about amazing picture quality. Still not quite as nice as the 92" pull down screen and projector though.

Mike, personally I don't like plasma. The technology has changed since they first came out but they still don't last as long as a normal TV and they are a lot more expensive. The picture is second to none though.

Mike, how bout you get out of the shop for a bit and go to best buy and take a look around. That or go to a home theater store. I think you'd have a heart attack similar to when you heard my subs in the truck.

My heart is palpitating just thinking about that!

... or was it knowing that Ol' Blue was a couple of swaybars short of RollOver Fatality when you smoked out Dead Man's Curve?

In due time. First I gotta get the shafts in the tranny and o-ring the head and decide which route I'm gonna go with the turbo.

Rowland, I'm feeling a bit better about running at Redline - we got the clutch to hold in 5th & 6th with the Smarty & Quad turned up all the way... looks like I may need to dispense with the powershifting, though.
