Mt. Lemon Trip for Az folks

Just figured I would extend an invite to any of you Arizona people that would like to head up to Mt. Lemon with a bunch of us <about 20 dodge trucks> On Saturday the 25th. There are a bunch coming down from Phx area and if anyone in that area would like to come I can give you the information if you want to head down with them. As for the people here in Tucson there are a few of us on the NW side of town that are gonna met and head over together to Valencia and I-10 where all of us are meeting before heading up. The store and shop owners up there are expecting us and we are going to head up for a lil relaxing in the cool temps and fun with the trucks. If you would like to come or would like more information please pm me for more details. I would really like to see more CTDs <6 so far are going> heading up then just all those dang hemis n daks.

Cool,
Wish I was there. I would go in a heart beat. I've had to go to Tucson for business and made a side trip up Mt. Lemmon for pleasure. That was a fun trip. At the time, part of Mt. Lemmon was scorched from a fire (2002). I remember the ride up to the top from Tucson, wishing I had a sports car, that was a cool ride, with all the switchbacks. The area was beautiful, I think I made it to Somerville before I turned back.

Yes it is beautiful and there is still some fire damage, that fire was a little scarey seeing how I can walk out my front door and see Mt. Lemon and ride at the base of it and we thought the fire was going to keep crawling down and threaten us but they got it stopped in time. The road is better since then as well. My brother worked on that job and they were up there well over a year redoing most of the road. I am very excited and can't wait. I love it up there.

Thanks Davey, we had a great time up on the mt. It was a beautiful 71 degrees up there. We had 14 or 15 trucks up there on the mt. And it was awesome when we rolled up with our convoy of rams and everyone stopped and starred and said omg that must be the <name of the club> truck club. We had a blast just hanging out, talking and looking over each others rigs. We had an amazing 4 CTDs show up. Which is awesome cus it used to be just myself until a few months ago. The trucks looked awesome and we got some great pics, I will have to get some from the guys cus I didn't take my digital. If any of you guys are ever interested in ever coming with us we do things once a month <alternating months between tucson and phx> just drop me a pm. I will hopefully post pics soon.
