Sorry man I have no way of scanning nd faxing one to you. I will be getting some buisness type club member cards for us to hand out soon.
I will be on cvacation in Colorado fot the next week so keep this up for me guys and I hope to check in once or twice.
I think it would work out better if someone brought a decent size grill for cooking the meat we will eat. Everything else i figure we'll prepare at the house and bring wih us.

Well fellas I have some troubling news. It's two weeks til the meet if I am thinking correctly. This morning I went down and dropped off some scrap metal..aluminum in Pulaski, Tn. Headed out of there towards Nashville, was actually gonna be on time to work, not speeding, actually set cruise at 70 and rolled on. Got off in Brentwood at Old hickory blvd and signaled to change lanes, that went well. Once in the lane I wanted to be in a guy in the left turn lane decided he wanted to get out of there and launched his expedition into the side of my truck right at the drivers door. We pulled off the road, he said he was gonna wait at the gas station....I told him he'd better not and he should wait there with me until the police showed up.
Well, officer got my info....and checked me out and came back and explained to me that the fella that hit me had........NO license, NO insurance and there was something fishy about the temporary tag in the back window. Actually when we pulled off to the side of the road and he came over to the truck and I saw he was a hispanic fella.....my heart sunk cause I knew what I was in for.
Officer said I was free to go and could not determine who was at fault....obviously it was him.....why?? Because he has no driver training, did not pass a drivers test, this is apparent because he had NOOOOOOOOO DRIVERS LICENSE!!!!!!!
So I got the insurance company involved, have to go let them look it over on thursday morning and then they'll cut me a check to have it repaired at wherever I want. So I guess once I have the check in my hand I can hold off and most likely make the fling down in Alabama, hate to miss it, then we can all share war stories and check out the battle scars on the truck. I have a $500 deductable, I thought they told me that if he was at fault it would be $200 which would be great. All the scrap I hauled off was gonna give me a little extra to put towards my pyro and big lines kit......not now.
Bad part is it dented the lower cab corner and when you open the door you can see creases in the cab itself so I don't know what they'll do about that. Been driving ticket and accident free for 20 years until the inception of the illegal mexicans. Gonna email some congressman and stuff and vent on how I have to fork over all this money now....that I don't have lying around or hangin in a tree.....I better quit there or I might say something!!

I guess the highlight was watching the officer put the binders on him and put him in the back seat of his cruiser......although everytime I got in and out of my truck today I realized that was not enough satisfaction....him paying for my deductable....maybe.....him having insurance and a drivers license.....priceless!! But then again....maybe to much to ask....our government lets them run the roost and somebody has to be involved in an accident or killed before they take care of one of these A-holes.
Wow, Thats a heck of a day. Number one is that you seem to be ok without injury. Thats always a plus after an accident. I could only imagine how frustrated you must be
I was messing with a guy the other day in a 2nd gen and we were doing our thing on a four lane highway and he managed to kinda sort of, but not really cut a guy off. Turns out this guy he kinda cut off was a "person of spanish persuasion" if you will. The "person of spanish persuasion" pulls up next to the guy in the 2nd gen and proceeds to hoop and hollar in some foreign language. The guy in the 2nd gen rolled his window down and yells at him, now I heard this while sitting behind him over the Cummins running, "You cant even tell me your mad at me cause you cant speak english can you?" Man I was laughing so hard but the 2nd gen guy was in the wrong and he should have never been driving like that, but he did and it was funny. I hate that happened to you but glad you are ok!!

Man that's really crappy!! Good to hear you are okay. I really hate crap like this. It makes you sooo mad and then there's nothing you can do about it. Makes you wanna run around with a full on exo cage. It'd look pretty cool on a dodge and it'd take a semi to dent ya.
I'm a tech at BMW of Nashville and I've got a lot of connections with dealerships. If you need anything run it by me and I'll see what I can do. My girls' dad is the GM at South East and they just bought Music City Dodge. Also, her brother in law is a parts guy at Beaman Dodge in Murfreesboro. If you need anything just ask.

UPDATE: Well, had a new universal joint installed on this past Friday in the front left axle for a rolling knock that i had. Seemed to fix it for about 20 miles. I was going up to Huntsville Saturday, and the brand new universal with less then 50 miles on it, grenaded. I mean self destructed. Not a pretty site on my truck. I am currently in a rental car that is a NEON. I hit a reflector on my way into work this morning and I thought the thing was gonna flip.
Truck is at the ******* now, and hopefully, with some luck, will be finished today. As long as they do not have to order any parts, right now looks like a new universal, new axle seal, and I hope they can find what is causing the UV in the axle to go out anyway. SOmething had to cause that, cause that is not a common occurence, but hey Murphy has always liked me.

I had a front end shop do it, because where I live over here in Bama, I can't do any mechanic work on site where I live. SInce I just moved over here, I do not have access to any buddys that have a garage or anything. If I were back home in GA, I would ahve done it myself.
Dodge does now want to warranty the U-joint now, I guess because if they say that it failed, then they will be liable for everything else that it trashed.
So I learned a lesson. Let Dodge do, go ahead and spend the extra money, cause in this case, I would have been about $900 ahead once they get it back together today.
I don't feel so well.
Happy out

UPDATE:
Well, here is the next saga of "As the Dodge Turns".
I called dealer yesterday and asked what the damage was, the service guy says, well, it is not good at all. I said well, how much is it gonna cost me, and he replies that it is $1974.00.
I am like BS. I then ask for the list of all the things he wants to replace...
#1) left front inner axle (the one that goes into the differential) $277
#2) inner axle seal $32
#3) wheel bearing assembly $367
#4) U-joint $77
#5) both rotors $260
#6) brake pads $60
#7) front left tire $300
#8) diff fluid $50
#9) labor $485
the dollars are what they charge for each without taxes.
He knows that I get off at 4 p.m., and he tells me that if he does not get the parts ordered by 4 that it will be two days before he can get the parts in.
I say no problem, I will get off early. So I get over there and look over the things he wanted to get. I agree with the axle, as the holes for the U-Joint caps are egg shaped on that shaft only. Wheel bearing I agree, cause that is the only thing that I believe could have caused this as everything else looks good, and that bearing just did not feel right for some reason. Inner axle seal I agreed to cause when the U-joint let go, it destroyed it.
Then I started in on them. The rotors have the normal heat cracks, tht I am sure everyone of us have on our trucks. They are usually surface cracks that my fingernail would not grab, I told them to turn the rotor, and if the cracks did not disappear after 4 thousands then call me. Brake pads, they wanted $60 for them, so I went to the autozone and got premiums for $40, and took them back to them. They were trying to charge me $300 to replace the tire, it appears when I hit a deer three weeks ago, that the bumper was shaving the tire a little when I turned in to my dads drive. They told me it was to the cordson the tire, and in reality it was just the wavy appearance that is left on rubber when it is cut like it was. I told them to put it on the back. I climbed in the back of my truck and opened the tool box and gave them 4 quarts of diff fluid from my last truck when i was changing over to synthetics. By taking out some of the stuff, it knocked over a $100 bill off the labor as well.
Bottom line is, I get my truck back today with their work guarantee on it, and their parts warranty. If something fails there this time, it is their dime.
Sorry for the long post.
