I won't be driving the truck because I did in fact buy the most beat to crap first gen I could find! So it's not quite ready.
I do hope to make it tho, sounds like it'll be a good time.

If your truck runs, then bring it!!!!!!!!! It doesn't have to be the prettiest one there. That's not important. The fact that it's a first gen makes it special and unique. I'd like to see it. You don't see trucks like yours everyday.

If you can't bring it because it doesn't run...then that is another matter. If you need a ride we can work something out...even if I have to drive to Joplin first.

Well when you live in a state of Misery! What could you expect. At least this year we've actually had winter!

OK, I'll at least try to get it ready. If it warms up that is, I'm just too big of a sissy to get out there and work on it when it's 20* or less! Afterall it is kinda ridiculous to go to a CTD meet without a CTD!

I'll see what I can do, but can't promise anything.

Oh come on. It's at least 6 degrees this morning. But I do agree with tree doc I'm glad to actually see some winter with moisture in it. Maybe I'll get a spring hay crop.

I just fell off the turnip truck!

Tell me about your meetings. What's required, own a dodge and willing to drive? Is this a group from a certain area? Is there another group from greater Kansas City? What's the purpose? What's the agenda?

I'm tentatively planning on coming down just to meet some of the guys who post here! I've been on the BB for a few months and have gained alot of help from everyone and I appreciate it.

Anyone going from the KC or Topeka area, what route are you going? I could go over to 69, south to Ft. Scott and over, or over to 71 and down, or..... Anyone needing a ride? Or anyone wanting to form a convoy?

It's only two weeks off....

Nothing is really required. heck we even allow people like packmule from Arkansas to come. This is just a friendly gtg and meal and discuss electing a new pres. JFpointer has been busy lately. We are also having a gtg at pistols house in april for a little food and fun and then a diesel race and dyno event on June 9th.

Len, I will be going down 59 to 71 and over..what area are you in?
71 south is deffinatly quicker from teh KC area, 59 from teh lawrence/topeka area....
No agenda, and this will only be our second meeting, so no real hard guidelines about anything!
No real agenda other than what Mike mentioned and planning some activities for this coming year...

I'm between Paola and Osawatomie, or about 20 miles east of 59, or about 12 miles west of 69.

You had to mean 59 to 54 (not 71), correct?

I live about 25 miles east of KC. I will probably take 7 highway to harisonville then take 71 south.
