My sister just moved to a town outside of Joplin, MO. I need to get up there and visit and see their new spread and may happen to time it that weekend.

MColeman, you mentioned one time you live near Chadwick, MO......and I was just going to say that Thanksgiving I went up to the ATV Trails section of M.Twain National Forest for a camping/riding trip. Very pretty country up there. Im looking forward to getting back over there sometime, since my son and I both have new quads.

 

Yep, I live about 15 or 20 miles from the Chadwick ORV park. I'm on the fire board of the district responsible for pulling guys out of there when they get hurt. I use to ride there often with my boys but now I ride horses on past at a place called the Bar K Wrangler camp. Pretty to ride in. But you better have a good mule to pack out a deer kill. It's steep and rough in some places.

 

Welp, looks like i'll be missing this GTG...I want to...but at noon on march 3rd I'll be in the middle of my...ummm....uhhh...meeting for my "Minor in Possesion of Alcoholic Beverages" violation...lol...good times and better stories...lol

 

i've had a couple of those myself. it sucks. and it brings a tear my eye everytime they made me pour some out. and mike my bail won't be that much. i hope. i'll be sure to bring a cople extra hundred to throw in.

Pooring it out really hurts. At least your not so far away that we can't take you and your truck to the arky line if they pull your license.

 

they'll have to catch me first. and i think i can off road a bit better and faster than their cop cars. besides, i ain't afraid to roll it or take out trees. and it's probablly the beer tab that'll be big. i'll bring me a dd just in case.

Actually, my sis and b-n-law just moved to Sarcoxie. After looking at a map it looks like I will be going straight up Highway 71 thru Carthage to Nevada.

You are certainly more than welcome to car pool with me. Love to have the company. But how come you are not going to bring your truck? If you can you should bring it so we can all "OOOH and AAAHHHH" over all the trucks..

If you need a ride I don't mind driving back to Joplin to pick you up though. Just let me know.

 

yea guys...pouring them out does suck...and my buddy was "hosting" the party had to pour out everything in the house...like 3 30 packs, a couple bottles of vodca, and TWO bottles of unopened crown royal...even the cop flinched when we started pouring them out...lol

and yea, I'll keep my nose clean and be anxiously waiting for the next gtg, maybe by then i'll have the truck cleaned up and smoking more

 

If you're gonna be coming from sarcoxie then I'll be WAAAY outta your way. After you get back on I-44 the 71 N exit is just a few miles outside sarcoxie. So the carpool thing probably won't work, which is no big deal I don't mind driving.
I won't be driving the truck because I did in fact buy the most beat to crap first gen I could find! So it's not quite ready.
I do hope to make it tho, sounds like it'll be a good time.
