Dave, bring your wife. It's just a dinner. I don't know that any restaraunt would like us tying up the tables on a weekend for too long. AFter dinner if you want to hang for a bit, it looks like the casino was a good idea to follow up with. I don't know how much gambling I'll do, but will definitely hit it for a drink and some more B.S.'n. Of course, I've kinda been wanting to try some poker lately. A lot more appear to be interested than I actually expected, so I'm gonna try to call them tonight and make sure there won't be any issues with a crowd rolling in, despite their ad.

 

OK, I made a reservation for 12-14 at this time. As the day gets closer, I will keep them updated. I took the liberty to reserve non-smokeing, just so they have a heads up. That can change if you guys indicate a preference. They didn't seem to show anxiety for the size of the group. Again, I told them the numbers aren't concrete yet, may be more, just let me know of the changes. The reservation is under my name, Don Robbins and MI.D.T.R. initials.

Hey, I just had a thought... if the reservation is in your name, does that mean you're paying? This could be a REAL good time!

Would love to go there but I'm in Flordia till early March. Hope there is another one planned sometime later this year. Being retarded/retired time isn't much of an issue for me. And if thinking about the Casino hotel unless special pricing it usually is around $150-200 per night. There are a few other hotels in the area also though but can't remember what.

 

Actually, they asked me if it would be on one bill or multiple. I told them single bill, just watch for the guy with the corncob pipe and spit shined logging boots. He was an eccentric and a BIG tipper. Just don't stare at the food stuck in his mustache.....

I may have another friend comeing as well. I'm gonna try to push for a formal headcount around the 1st so we can make sure the restaurant can take care of us like we deserve.... well.. most of us.... At least now they have their heads-up.

I thought that you caught wind of this forum through me, not that it really matters though. I would like to have as many people as we can at this meet and great, who cares where they frequent as long as they drive a diesel and want to have a little fun. Also, great to see you here on the sight.

I'd like to try to get them a final heads-up by Sunday, if we can. I can't see hitting the place as early as 4pm, with a big crowd causing a problem, but who knows. Looking like a respectable turn-out this year. Dinner at 4, I'll try to get there about 3 for a drink and make sure they have their act together. They'll probably start giving us the stink-eye if the crowds start comeing in, so it looks like the casino would be the consensus for post meal operations....

 

I got at least 2 coming, maybe more if you guys let the strokes come too. Redleg were you from anyways.
