Sunday May 6th- gates open at 9.

I know MIR down in southern Md is a haul for a bunch of our guys, so this event is the day after the MIR Big Rig Nationals and is just 40-45 minutes from the Baltimore area.

As of now, I will be going, along with my father and a few guys he works with that drive trucks. I'm thinking of taking the grill and some coolers and having a fun day out there

 

If I am childless that day, I can make it.. It may be too long of a day for him....

 

Hmmmm....I haven't drag raced in about 12 years...but it could be fun...I'll have to check the schedule.

 

I am gonna try and make it. I won't be racing, but I would love to watch. It's about a 2 hour drive for me, but I got it marked on my calender.

I'll stop by and look you up. Went last year with my boys and had some fun - I remember a couple of funky diesels running Detroits that looked different but ran pretty quick. Years ago when the kids were little I used to spend Thursday nights at Capital with the Mustang on Test and Tune night - now the boys are racing there.

Hey TJ, how quick can your blue truck go without dragging all that weight behind you? Now that I think about it, didn't your dad race his maroon Dodge last year? ... my memory is returning.... gotta give those Duramax's a run for thier money....

 

well i know i won't make it, that is the same weekend as my mssa spring fishing tournament

 

my truck is slow, it runs 15's.

the old mans truck ran some 16's last year, but this year will be high 15's with the EZ on it

 

Just and EZ will give you 15's? Hmmph. My truck don't feel like 15's (maybe real high 15s?????

My wife would have a cow if she knew I wanted to race...maybe I'll just watch
