Well i thought i'd kick off a new one before the old one gets shut down.
August 4th we are having a Wrenching day/ Birthday/ Bonfire party.
All are welcome no gifts necessary just BYOB and mind your own kids.

I'm on vacation the whole week prior so no reason I shouldn't be there for wrenchin' and the after-party. I'll tell the wife and kids to hold of on showing up until later maybe...
I did finally wire up my relay to my fuel pump so I feel better about that. Guess I better find some money so I can have something to bomb by then

how come we can only get five pages of thread when the Mega-Cab knuckle heads have like a dozen? Maybe it's because of the section they're posting in?
We (the family) might be able to make it Aug 4th. Who's b-day?

Man I want to go, I need to install a high beam conversion kit, Diablo Puck/predator combo, Quad boost fooler, and fix my windsheild mount guage pod. But the problem is that that is the same weekend as the ATN up in Carlisle. I have already made plans to go up there on Aug 4th for the day.

Thanks, I will bring the high beam kit with me, and maybe I can get the guage pod fixed, but what adhesive should I get, any suggestions. As for the diablo stack and boost fooler I have to get an oil analysis done before I can put them on since I have had a slight issue with potasium in the oil.

Potasiumm is only found in three things that I know of -
Bananas, and I did not put any bananas in my oil.
The lube used to assemble the motor at the factory, possible but not likely since the last analysis was on the third oil change.
Or the big kicker, ANTIFREEZE, which is very, very bad for a motor with only 23, 8xx on it.
I only use PS, an anti-backteria additive, and 2 cycle oil.
I have my analysis done by Blackstone Labs out of Indiana.

Potash can be in anti-bacterials but I would not think it would be in one that went in an engine. And potash can be used in making bio, but it should all get washed out I think. Too acidic.
I hope it is not anti-freeze.

Hey Scotte
I'll put the 4th on my calendar. Been trying to get up there but between work OT ($$) and family duties, weekends have been packed. Tried for the Buck but a cookout in Frederick to support my son's work comes up Sat.
So see you on the 4th.
BTW I have a set of ABS Bed Caps w/pocket holes available. The Line-X guys at Earls road did such a great job (filling holes) I don't need 'em.
PM me if interested.
Item No: 812454EGR
Fits:
02 & up Dodge Ram Pickup - 1500 (1/2 Ton) - Long Bed
03 & up Dodge Ram Pickup - 2500 (3/4 Ton) - 3500 (1 Ton) - Long Bed
