May Meeting For MSDTR #31___May 5th, 2007

Ok gentleman. Looks like we're set to have the next meeting in New Albany, MS on the date specified above, at our very own club member's (AbbyNormal) lake house. So bring the wife&kids, the fishing poles, food, and swim shorts. Should be one of the best meets we've had to date.

Abby can chime in with a staging spot for us all to meet at before going to the lake. But we'll most likely meet at about 10AM that morning.

I'll be needing directions, won't be able to make it to the meeting spot by 10am.

Thats ok, when you get to New Albany, or close to where we meet that morning, you can just call one of us and we'll meet you somewhere.

I might be there. I have to check and see my work schedule....plus it's my b-day weekend so that may be a problem. Checked on the map and looks like about 170 miles for me and mostly two laners....yikes!!! Takes me through Cherokee, Alabama, Corinth and Booneville MS. It said about 4.5 hours of travel. So maybe?

Like I allready said, alot faster taking the Trace. Cause if I can make it to Summertown in under 2.5hrs from the house, your no more than 30min further.

Wow! Looks to be a good turn out if everyone shows up. Hey Dmax, have you talked with Karl (aka Dizlpower) about attending? If he and 1stgen also go, looks like 8 so far. I'm working on getting a couple guys I've met over on the Memphis racing Scene to attend also. They both have some serious power in their trucks. One is a 24v 2nd gen that turns high 11's and that guy's brother has got a D-max running low 12's.

We can all meet at the New Albany Wal Mart parking lot at intersection of Hwy 78 and hwy 30 west. Get your NEwcastle or other adult beverages BEFORE entering Union county or you'll be outta luck! I'l have time to get the ski boat ready and in the lake. Also some great logging roads if anyone wants to bring a four wheeler. Bring fishing gear for anyone interested.

hope this map works...

WBV's sig should simply read: "enough power to run 11's on #2 only with no electronics, all mechanical improvements!!!"

Now, if we can only get his Dmax owning brother to show up here, then we can say we are diversified.

Not that I'm aware of. I do know a Hot Rod VP, cam, heads, and big sticks.
