Nope. Not from where we live. It takes 1.5 hours, and festivities start 8:30-9am.

Well, turnout was a little light but we had a good time. They had all the trucks dynoed by 11:00. I only got to kill one measly KDP. Convoying back with Crossy and Wexman was fun! I used up all the water/meth before we got halfway home.

That was interesting, to say the least. Crossy, if that truck were 4WD, I'd consider buying it for a second (or in my case, third) vehicle. That is one fast machine.

My "600" was simply outclassed by two 12-valvers!!

Hey, I had to take it out of valet mode to keep up with you. And that slushbox of yours makes me look silly in a drag race. All that smoke and noise from mine and yours just pulls away.

Us, sherry, and Will. we couldn't and wouldn't keep up woth you's, ya'll are nuts and must like cops.we did 70 the whole way home except in construction and NEVER even caught up with you's to even see you. we had our own smoke convoy. also we were the group of people who all Dynoed. ya'll might be fast but we proved our power.

keep the bugs off ur glass and the bears off you ***** (tail) we'll catch you on the flip-flop, this here's a cumminsdieselboy on the side, bye bye.

I hear ya, Cody. I saw that we lost you....

Seriously, I try to keep it about 70-75 on the turnpike. However, when the road was clear, and safe to go, I will admit, we, a....ahem..... took it up a notch.

Blame Crossy - once he took lead, it was pedal to the metal!!

All that smoke and noise from mine and yours just pulls away.
But once you finish all that shifting, that truck of yours goes like stink! I was hoping you were going to give a little toot of smoke to that little ricer boy we passed just as we were starting the uphill on 100, after we crossed through the bypass intersection. I guess there was too much other traffic.

That's the worst stretch of road! The way the back end of my truck bounces going up that hill it's all I can do to stay in the seat! That cushy 3rd gen has you spoiled.

Cody, I had to test my front tires, that's why we took off so fast.

They must've been off center a little, it ran smooth on the way back.

FUN FUN FUN, and let me tell ya'll something about FACTORY dodge speedos, they are WAY OFF and read FAST. , Mine was 4-5 MPH off with stock tires but is close now with the 265's on it, instead of stock 245's. Those road radars were verifying my speedo was within 2 MPh now.
Once I took the lead, only because speed was fluctuating a little much and I like to use my cruise, I set the cruise on KILL --errr-- i mean 75 MPH. I just did what it took to maintain the cruise control. I bet Scotts was showing 80 cause my new truck is off also.

I can't believe ya'll didn't mention what I did to those snooty old nerds in their corvette convertibles:-)). I was laughing so hard I nearly blacked out. Brandon said "dad their going to come after us", " "thats all right son, i got more for em where that came from".

DAVE, now i know what that picture is in your avatar . it my WINDSHIELD from the first 5 miles of being behind you!! LOL

I did follow Mr. Clean exhaust for a while, but i thought he got cold feet going through the construction cattle shuteswith those wide fenders THEN I realized the speed limit was only 55 through there. and i did slow- Some- but Once in the lead --- well you know the rest.

BTW, I didn't mean to pass you so quickly when we left, but you really threw out an anchor after you got out into the right lane off the road ?? and those little roller scates that were coming up behind me were bearing down hard so i threw out the smoke screen and went down on the loud pedal. I pulled over to properly shut my hood -DUHHHH and even then when i pulled out i didnt see anyone following?

I got a nice little video of SMOKIN THUNDER on the dyno and i sent it to them so maybe they'll forgive us for runnin off.
If you want it email me at home . I also have a pic of the dyno result board with the numbers on it. all4trux@snip.net,

Brandon said he saw one guy go back three times for my baked beans- maybe we shoulda strapped that guy to the dyno. LOL

Headed for the CamelBeach in poconos in the morning. Honey, can I drive

, thanx guys, Brandon is already asking if we can go back in Oct.

FINAL NOTE- PROMISE. I was the only one there with a child-so to speak-Big ain't he for 11, and everyone there was very 'clean' today. thanx again,, crossy
