KDP Killing party for So. Cal?

I'm finally going to surrender and kill the KDP. However, was wondering if anyone else down here is slacking off like me, and wants to get a Jig and finish the pin off once and for all? BTW is there a "keeper of the KDP jig" around here? did some searches but came up with nothing...

It is my understanding that all of our 5.9s are candidates for the KDP up until year 2000. I am not sure if the TST kit will work for the fist gens. I do not see why it would not. The best way to find out for sure is to contact TST. If it would work you would think they would have expanded the years on the label. This could have been an oversight on their part. The install was straight forward, did it first time using two sets of instructions (methods) of removing parts on the truck. I can now start the truck without wondering if the KDP will attack.

BB: BTW nice looking truck you have there. It must really surprise folks when they hear a CTD Cummin at them only to see a Ford.

I emailed TST about a kit for my 91 and got this response.... I am confused ..

This was not a problem on the pre-94 Dodge's so we don't sell one for your application.

Thanks
Annette

I am looking for a kit like this for my 91 Dodge. Yours is indicated for 94 and newer.
Is this the same kit or do you offer one for the older dodges?

Hey I might be able to come to the party, I'm also in the class of " I'll get around to it" how many tools are needed, is this something we can do in a parking lot, or do we need a shop with a full set of tools. Anything after March 25 wold be really cool. Yea if we could get a big group and just knock it all out at once that would be great. Give me dates and times.

California is too big of a state to have just one KDP party. I vote that the first one be held in Orange or Riverside County.

Thats a fact. If you lay Ca. in its side (looking at a map) the distance from So.Cal to Nor. Ca. will get you to Texas.

At least you will get to go see the truck pull in your area. Too far for me to go to.
