Hello to all my "NORTHERN FRIENDS"

I should be up north around 1000/1100 at Tim's shop. Not real sure if my better half will be able to make it. I plan to hit the road around 0600/0630.

I don't plan on doing any work just a bunch of BSing and picking up something for Leigh Ann's truck.

For lunch my vote is HOOTERS. I have been told they have very good wings there

See ya in a few days
Chris

I'm In the Air Force, So calling in sick is a super NO NO!!! Malingering = just bad.
Just bad timing is all. I miss out on all the good stuff too. Later this year I get to miss out on "The Great Smoky Mountian Trail Ride" GSMTR to Land cruiser guys. Langley AFB has decided to send us a way for a while this spring/summer Why don't they plan big stuff for the winter, when nothing is really going on!

The Air Base where I work changed their scheduled "Camp Out" from early summer to winter a few years ago.
As luck? would have it, the day they left was warm, the temps quickly plummeted for the rest of the week to record lows and about a foot of snow.
Several cases of frostbite later......they decided the following year to change it to late fall.

Not actually IN the Air Force, just been working here for 18+ years.
If the Army, Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard can accomplish a task with a pencil and a Post-It note,
the Air Force will find a way to do it with a $10,000 computer

I'm glad that things haven't changed too much in our military. The last three Christmas's I spent in the Navy 30+ years ago I spent under blue water. I now make sure that I see all my immediate family every Christmas without fail. My hat is off to all who serve. Without them there would be no USA.

You won't need it Ed,,,
It's only about two blocks off Va Beach Blvd, down Scott St. and you will see an equipment rental place on the right with a parking lot and fenced-in back lot.

Oh wait,,,,,,,,,,,,, I guess ya want to program your fancy GPS thingy to tell ya how to get there.

I won't be bringing my GPS cause it always asks for the same info,,,,,,
GPS = Grandkid Pleading Sadly ___ "Are we there yet?"

OK, I plan to pull out of the East Coast at I-295 and 460 at 8:30, headed to Tim's. If anyone's running late and want us to wait, call me, Rattlin, etc. Those that need my number, PM me.

COOL!
I'll be waiting when ya hit Disputanta and make sure ya slow down to 45mph because our local law enforcement likes to sit and shoot radar sometimes on the weekends in that spot. PM me for my cell # if ya need to.

See ya then,,,,,
